Tow truck drivers in Portland ain't bad, I've been towed home by a couple of them. Some are assholes, but most of the time they are nice, and will talk to you on the way.
I hope they someday learn that the only way to prevent this kind of thing from happening is to have spikes like on the bridges that only go one way so you can get out but not in ... sweeper would have a sender built in so they get lowered automatically ... compared to what all the war and stupid homeland defense and what not costs all citys in the world could build this for one years worth of war money ...

If this is the case; its not predatory towing, the owner of the property has contracted the tow company to do patrols of their lots and remove unauthorized vehicles.
I know there is sinage stating unauthorized vehicles will be towed at owners expense.
I am a back up drivers for a friends company and we do a lot of PP tows; most of wich are patroled and we take anything with out a parking permit; expired tags, illeagly parked or in handy capped spots with out a place card.
And if you boost about it, you probably also tow when a car is on the line or an inch over it. Towns and cities are making new laws against you because of predatory towing and your "lawful" practices.
Is this the annual sweep through downtown up in NW Portland around PGE Park and the Pearl District? I dispatched for A&B for a bit and they did that a couple of times.

Wow... that street really looked like it needed to be swept. Who takes pride in a job like this? The work is set up to screw hard working Americans out of money. Their only crime was not knowing that on this particular day they had to move their car. They could have been on vacation, staying with their boyfriend/girlfriend, on business, etc.

The guy said many times in the video that that the cars needed to be moved so the street could be street sweeped. Thats why thay were towed.

Tow truck drivers in Portland ain't bad, I've been towed home by a couple of them. Some are assholes, but most of the time they are nice, and will talk to you on the way.
At least the ones with AAA. haha

I hope they someday learn that the only way to prevent this kind of thing from happening is to have spikes like on the bridges that only go one way so you can get out but not in ... sweeper would have a sender built in so they get lowered automatically ... compared to what all the war and stupid homeland defense and what not costs all citys in the world could build this for one years worth of war money ...

Sure, they are, just like all mechanics are slime, you know what, Realtor's are just there to make your life hell, housing costs would be cheaper if they weren't around. I used to repo, and love it, and you know what, if you weren't parked illegally it wouldn't happen. That is the plain truth, there is a code, but when you harass them, that goes out the window because you could be dangerous. If you weren't parked illegally, or paid your bills, it wouldn't happen.

If this is the case; its not predatory towing, the owner of the property has contracted the tow company to do patrols of their lots and remove unauthorized vehicles.
I know there is sinage stating unauthorized vehicles will be towed at owners expense.
I am a back up drivers for a friends company and we do a lot of PP tows; most of wich are patroled and we take anything with out a parking permit; expired tags, illeagly parked or in handy capped spots with out a place card.
