Btw Shekher Kapur also walked out from films like Barsaat (Bobby Deol's & Twinkle Khanna's debut film) & Prem (Sanjay Kapoor & Tabu's debut film)..

This film was shelved as Shekher Kapur lost interest in it & he switched on to make Bandit Queen...

It was supposed to release in the early 90, 1992 or 1993.

Like a lot of other Shekhar Kapur films, he seemed to lose interest as financing issues caused delays and there were some casting issues (Aamir apparently wanted Juhi Chawla to replace Raveena Tandon).

It's a pity it was never completed as it looks quite interesting and entertaining!

I am just fascinated by the thought of a movie on time machine. I hope Shekhar Kapur makes it again. I think he is the best person to make it.

Thanks.. it's wonderful to see the rushes of this old shelved film, it's a pity it was not made, I think it would have turned out to be a very different kind of movie!

And as an Aamir fan, it's sheer nostalgia to see him back then :)
