@jkilts i don't think they have done the last films yet though. they did half blood prince but not deathly hallows parts 1 and 2, i hope they do them though
08:27 Later in the infirmary: I'm so glad I wasn't grounded or that might have killed me and I got a cool new hair style out of it, but now everything tastes like TCP and burning.
Yeah, it's really funny . . . but honestly, aren't Quidditch sequences some of the most fun action scenes in recent movies? Did I miss something? (Yeah, I shouldn't have asked that here.)
@yodaya70 I think their problem with them is that Quidditch is basically just filler that lasts a long time. Most kids would care whether or not Harry's team wins, but in the end, the Quidditch games don't really affect the plot. Quidditch is either used as A. filler or B. a plot point when it somehow can't be played. The actual games themselves don't matter.
Plus, it helps to have a running gag of something they can make fun of in every movie. Quidditch, with its zaniness, seems a good pick.
@dragonkeeper19600 I'm sorry, but Quidditch was honestly my favourite part of the first Harry Potter movie. It's one of the things that makes Hogwarts special and not just a no name magic school.
@Cherrybloodsyrup Hey, you don't have to agree with Rifftrax. If you like Quidditch, then awesome! If you think Quidditch is fun and exciting, then you're right. If they think it's awful, then they're right. There's no right or wrong in things like these.
"And on the seventh day, God took a royal dump. And He called the dump Harry Potter. And God saw that it was good. Or, actually, quite horrible, but in a good way." - Rifftrax Chapter 2 Verse 19.
@textthing People don't just TRY to play it, they do. Several colleges in the U.S. and Britain have Quidditch Teams, and the Quidditch World Cup actually took place a few weeks ago.
@textthing It's not embarassing. I and many others are proud to be part of the Harry Potter fandom, and you need to grow up if you think it's a bad thing to have a passion for something.

I was hoping at the end we'd see the shot from the last film of the Quiddich stadium burning down. I'm dying to hear what they'd say there

Is anyone brave enough to search YouTube to see if there actually are videos of people trying to play it? So far I have resisted the temptation.

Quidditch, it's what your wife sees when you make her watch baseball.
For Christmas quidditch games they use the head of a disgraced house elf, it's fun.
