@raventakayama There's liquor stores in every neighborhood, including white neighborhoods, yes unhealthy food everywhere including white neighborhoods and these are moral choices, no one is forcing liquor or bad food down your mouth and as for 'media disposition' that only reflects the reality so the demonizing is done by the black community itself. Jim Crows laws have not been enacted in years, quit living in the past that is your problem.

If there was no truth to these statements then why are their entire committees, within the epidemiology branch of the CDC dedicated to bridging the gap in health disparity. Private organizations around the US have given millions upon millions of dollars to the investigation of institutionalized racism and its even part of the curriculum for MPHs. You clearly don't read because this has been an issue since the ending of Jim Crow.

@zos And as far as simply math goes....well you don't do percentage based statistics in simple math, you use whole numbers and if we do that instead of percentages we'd see that there's more whites in prison nation wide than blacks due to the huge population disparity between blacks and whites. One could draw the conclusion that there's more bad whites than blacks based upon this simple fact, but that would be short sighted to say the least. So like I said before educate yourself 1st then speak.

@zoso1234 Simply put. You cast a net in the right side of the lack and you'll only catch fish on the right side of the lake. It doesn't mean there aren't plenty of fish to be caught on the left side. Case n point- a higher population of whites utilize marijuana than blacks, however blacks make up nearly 60% of the arrests. That's inflation due to profiling. I know this because I had to learn this stuff in order to obtain my degree. P.E.A.C.E. (Positive Education Always Corrects Errors)

@zoso And whether the kids who are using are college students or not they're breaking the law. And in most states MJ crimes have heavy prices and are harshly enforced. However they're primarily enforced on minorities. That's do to profiling. Simply put the police are trained to look for it more often in black communities, but it exists in larger amounts in the white community. That's a disparity in justice and no black/brown people aren't the smugglers of drugs. You need BIG money to do that.

Proof of this isn't only pre America Europe, but modern day impoverished whites as well. If you analyze criminal statistics based upon financial stability you'd find that impoverished whites commit just as many crimes as impoverish blacks. If you knew anything about profiling, you'd find that the police presents is heaviest in impoverished black communities.

@zos This about it. Its percentage based. One individual can be convicted for several crimes. It accounts for the crime percentage per count or offense. So the percentage isn't a person by person number that's a whole number dude lol. Next prisons in the pacific northwest are predominately white because the population is overwhelming white. Its like that in many of the great plain states. Believe it or not blacks aren't scattered evenly throughout the US. Hints a higher white prison population.

That's a statistical fact. Blacks feel the inequality. If you were ever pulled over and harassed for being in a particular neighborhood, or asked to empty your pockets randomly while walking downtown you'd riot after years of that too my friend.

And profiling is a department issue because black cops profile black citizens all of the time so don't get it twisted my friend. Bad behavior in all senses has an underlying reason. Being born bad isn't a race thing, if so whites would really be evil considering their history and current underhanded incidents, however the actions of a few do not depict the nature of any race.

@zoso1234 People were looking for Arabs when the Oklahoma bombing happened, but it ended up being a white guy. He eluded detection for a long time because police simply weren't looking for his kind. Whites are often profiled as serial murderers, so when the DC sniper thing happened they were looking for a white guy...Wrong it was two black guys. Profiling doesn't work. It alienates specific groups that should be considered. Same with women. They are rarely suspected therefore they get away.

@zoso Hmm, but were you ever pulled over and asked why are you in this particular (upscale predominately white) neighborhood? I take a highway to my class which just happens to run through a pretty well off part of Atlanta. I've been pulled over several times, while not speeding or breaking any traffic laws. I was even asked why was I driving so slowly in one incident as if he was trying to imply I was casing the neighborhood. I've also been pulled over numerous times after customizing my car.

Many women have gotten lesser sentences when committing crimes with a male accomplice by claiming they were forced. Female's don't fit the profile therefore they are rarely suspected. Suspicion solves crimes. If you can avoid suspicion you won't get caught. There's 200,000 cold cases or unsolved murders since the 60s. That's because those who committed the crimes probably didn't fit the profile.

@zoso1234 Were you ever asked to perform a sobriety test after refusing to tell the a particular officers where you were going? By law I didn't have to tell him anything. All you have to do based upon GA law is ID yourself and present proof of auto insurance. He started asking more questions than jeopardy then asked me to step out of the vehicle upon suspicion of DUI. I didn't even have a drink considering I was coming from school...yet again. So yes for blacks this is a very true situation.
