I bought this laptop off ebay and it came without disk and the recovery partition was gone. What I want to know is, is the disk that came with your laptop simply win 7 home premium? are all the component drivers included in the build? or do you have to install them all separately? Or is the build more than simply win 7, but a build that includes other software/apps/bloat?
@evilsnakes1 I am quite sure you have to download at least some drivers from the asus-website. They also offer useful pieces of software like the Eee-Powermanagement for this model, so you better check out after installing your win7.

Läuft darauf auch German Truck Simulator oder Mercedes World Racing? Ich bin am überlegen ob ich einen HP Compaq Mini 311, Asus 1201N oder Samsung N510 kaufe.
@Vandrade89 they say 8GB, but i heard that there is a glitch in the BIOS that doesn't let it recognize the memory at all. 4GB is the technical max. Also I heard that ASUS still didn't update the drivers and such so the computer can run Windows 64bit. So if you get 4GB of RAM, only 3.25GB of it will be usable.

What is the maximum RAM that you can upgrade on this Netbook? Some people say 4GB others say 8GB, witch one is it?

Neither 4GB or 8GB. Max is 3.25 Usable. Upgrade ram, upgrade OS to 64 bit, do anything period, highest is 3.25 Usable, not 4 and not 8.
