I have this shield and it's amazing! I've dropped my ipod at a height, while running, onto rough pavement, smashed it against random objects accidentally, thrown it into pockets with keys and other pointy things and the shield has never scratched. My ipod looks/works great. It's got a kind of 'grippy' feel too so your ipod won't slip out of your hand. Totally recommend this.

these skins are ok.. i had one(front back) on my iphone for over a year. There start to get dirty and parts start to peal off forcing you to 'trim' it.. I've since bought a 3gs and opted for a skin\case with better protection. these skins would be ok for the new nanos sinice it just wraps around... these skins are strong and grippy, they take some well above average abuse to break through..
