Kratos is a much better character than any of the Horsemen will ever be...

While War is just walking around, killing everything in his path just because someone TOLD him to do so and never shows any emotions, Kratos has something to drive him forward!

Even if you'd see Kratos as a madman in ever lasting bloodlust and completely leave the backround of the story aside, he's still better than someone without ANY emotions

Dark Siders is actually more like Legend of Zelda, an open world exploration with a little bit of linearity. The Combat is more similar to Devil May Cry than God of War, and Devil May Cry does it better.

Personal opinion: I'm getting sick of the incessant whining about how this game is nothing more than a clone of other games. Yes...similar gameplay to GOW and it shares some elements with Zelda. Yes, the art style is similar to WoW. Everything draws inspiration from something else in some form or another. Without "Ten Little Indians" there would be no slasher movie genre. This is an original game that is simply in the same genre as GOW and DMC.
