Dark Siders is actually more like Legend of Zelda, an open world exploration with a little bit of linearity. The Combat is more similar to Devil May Cry than God of War, and Devil May Cry does it better.

Personal opinion: I'm getting sick of the incessant whining about how this game is nothing more than a clone of other games. Yes...similar gameplay to GOW and it shares some elements with Zelda. Yes, the art style is similar to WoW. Everything draws inspiration from something else in some form or another. Without "Ten Little Indians" there would be no slasher movie genre. This is an original game that is simply in the same genre as GOW and DMC.

Based on this, they don't look quite as detailed as most games recently released or soon to be. Compare it to Mass Effect 2, what we've seen of it, which comes out a few weeks later.

Maybe its the art style, which does seem a bit cartoonized, but the CGI trailers were all incredibly detailed. Just seems like they've focused less on graphics and more on gameplay.

Not bashing it, it looks good, just observing. Hope I made sense.
