there should be a square with a circle in the middle at the end of the tool bar at the bottom. when you have the paint brush tool selected to normal, click that, and it should be red.

what is the red tool you use in the beginning?

It's a quick mask, I use it so I can select the face. It's a little circle in a square button at the bottom of the toolbar, click it, then click the brush tool and paint the area you want selected, when you've done that press esc and then inverse it by pressing shift + ctrl + i. That should do it

im a photoshop noob, why do you use the mask tool and paint places red that arent really "one thing" ? like you paint big round parts of her hair and face, but you dont really paint ALL the hair or stuff..what are you doing there actually?

The red is usually masking, the first time I use it is to make a selection of the face, it's called quickmask but the second time I use it is when I'm in liquify and it's to stop parts of the picture moving while I adjust parts of the face =]

You go to image which is the top toolbar, then go down to image adjustments, find hue/saturation and you should see a little box in the bottom right colour called colourize, click on it and play around =]

To change her face shape I use a tool called Liquify, to find it click on filters which should be on the top row of tools, then look down and it should be there. If not try the key shortcut ctrl + shift + x . Happy Photoshopping =)

Learning how to use Photoshop just takes patience, most of it's trial and error but if you google Photoshop tutorials there's some great ones out there taking you through how to do things step by step. =)

You have to buy it unfortunately, and it doesn't come cheap. Google Adobe Photoshop and it should come up. Orrr if you want to go the illegal route some would say Limewire although if you get caught you get fined a lot more than photoshop costs.
