I'm not sexist (i'm not trying to be), but why isn't this car being driven by Clarkson, Hammond or May? I personally think it's a waste of time, money and effort. It represents a lot of things that are wrong with this world. Ok, this cars isn't a production car. But still, a veyron costs roughly 5 million dollars to produce and volkswagen sales them for 1.5 million. It's a millioraire's bargain of a life time. It's better looking, much faster and by the looks of things, much better to handle.

@superfragger a car is not all of speed but the vehicle doesn't cost 8million... its a TV gag. The vehicle is only available to very rich people who want to drive a symbol and not a ultimate race car. By the way people like you wouldnt be able to buy it anyway they wouldnt even let you go inside the Maybach dealer if you can't prove that you have some millions in your bag. already...

@god4488 Maybach are exposed in select Mercedes-Benz dealerships, sir. Mercedes bought back and closed all 30 Maybach dealers back in 2007 and started selling them through their own dealers. Besides that, if your allegations were true, who would you be to judge whether or not I have the necessary cash to purchase a Maybach? Also, the bitch said it herself that the car was conceived for the track. Getting around a racecourse is all about speed, if I ain't mistaken.

@superfragger true but not about acceleration. If you try out wheels you dont need to go faster than 4.4 seconds on 0-60. And you CAN buy that car some people did. That Maybach is Mercedes today is clear.
