I was never a fan of Russ Taff. In fact, I always blamed him primarily for turning the Imperials from good gospel music to the rock music (can you actually use those two words together in the same sentence?) genre that I felt was their downfall. However, after he joined GVB, I began to appreciate his music and agree that this is probably his greatest performance. And it didn't hurt that he was doing what is one of the Gaithers' greatest songs.

I have never been a huge fan of Russ Taff, but this is one of my all time favorite song/performances. It is just POWERFUL! Praise God!!!!!!!!

This just might be Russ' best performance of his lifetime. It was recorded in Jerusalem, and he was obviously very touched by the location.

I never gave much credit to Russ, but after this, I was uplifted. He's talented.. I didn't care much for his voice before, but he can bring out lots of emotion and does a great job here.
