Great video. I've been doing it this way for years and there is no faster or better way to skin a deer. This method will break a 4x4 beam.(Bad experiance)lol Use a stout tree limb or steel beam. I don't cut around the hind legs. I leave it attached and when I get the skin all the way out I leave it and the rope tight and start cutting it up right there. It's almost like having it on a table. lol

Where I live deer are dangerously overpopulated , often resulting in many dying of starvation (mainly babies). This deer was most likely killed reletively quickly. I suppose you could have it your bleeding-heart way, and instead dozens of fawns can die an agonizing death from starvation. So, I guess you're pro baby-killing? You're the monster, sicko.

Good video. Alternative to the golf ball. In your initial caping of the neck, go up and over the top side of the ears and include them in the cape. Then simply roll the ears under, place your pull rope loop around the ball of ears and hide. Everything else is done your way. Again, good video.
