  • 115 Kilometers

  • Great suspense the opening bit. Oddly, I happen to have my Nunney Castle hat right here next to me in San Diego, Ca. Road behind the loco to Worcester with the "Elgar Explorer" in 2001.

  • This is a work of art. I love the beginning: looking down the track surrounded by 19th century English infrastructure, listening to English fauna in the background, all of it setting the mood. And then, ever so faintly, we here that un-mistakable sound, building to a crescendo as she comes into view. Beautiful, just beautiful.

  • 115 what?

  • @brentthespeedskater looks like the number of the video in his list perhaps?

  • Nice, but you don't see anything until 1:27...

  • Fantastic capture........

  • Like my grandpap says - "In the USA there would be trash, broken glass, and used condoms all over the place"

  • Well done! Excellent location.

  • Awesome video! 115 - is that miles per hour?

  • @littlefield19 Probably Kph as this is in the UK.

  • @pdlip1 Then if its the UK, its more likely to be miles per hour. Us Brits wont part with imperial measurements! lol

  • @littlefield19 I think it means Video #115

  • I've chased a lot of steam in the states and my shots tend to all look the same.

I love the sound and how the engine is framed by all the bridges, great job!

  • Is that IKB in the crowd?

  • Excellent video! 5*

  • great video is a great location liked

  • Why do photographers always lean over right into your shot on the key moment, it really grinds my gears!

  • @SPD1E same ! or old ladies walking up the platform, your waving your arm telling her to move and she dont see :(

  • @SPD1E well, I'd been there 45 minutes, he'd been there less than 10 so I knew he was bound to do it...the annoying thing is there was actually no need...except his wife was waving away like a windmill in front of him!

  • @willhayfield well. you can't have the best of everything. try to get a more secluded spot in future. so you sort of bought it on yourself. good video though.

  • Lovely staemer, nice video.
