Great suspense the opening bit. Oddly, I happen to have my Nunney Castle hat right here next to me in San Diego, Ca. Road behind the loco to Worcester with the "Elgar Explorer" in 2001.
This is a work of art. I love the beginning: looking down the track surrounded by 19th century English infrastructure, listening to English fauna in the background, all of it setting the mood. And then, ever so faintly, we here that un-mistakable sound, building to a crescendo as she comes into view. Beautiful, just beautiful.
@SPD1E well, I'd been there 45 minutes, he'd been there less than 10 so I knew he was bound to do it...the annoying thing is there was actually no need...except his wife was waving away like a windmill in front of him!
@willhayfield well. you can't have the best of everything. try to get a more secluded spot in future. so you sort of bought it on yourself. good video though.

I've chased a lot of steam in the states and my shots tend to all look the same.
I love the sound and how the engine is framed by all the bridges, great job!
