you can see clearly that ma lin is exhausted playing this game. normally he is much more aggressive and moves faster.however ma long deserves the credit since he has beaten ma lin various times before with ma lin being in better shape

ma lin's BH is not as offensive as wang hao. so, from time to time, ma long places the ball to ma lin's right hand side and to not let ma lin always going to lin's left hand side.  then when ma long forces ma lin to use backhand defense rather than RPB, ma long would have so much time that he totally controls the game despite the superb touch ma lin has.
