  • Holy

  • nice explosion, but without voice. :(

  • Almost any organic material, and even some metals, can combust if it is in the form of dust or very fine particles. And when it is trapped in a confined area you get an explosion. You can have a very powerful explosion if you have enough of it in a confined area. Check out the pictures of the Imperial Sugar Refinery explosion in Port Wentworth, Ga. That was a massive sugar dust explosion.

  • my hero!! :D

  • @777mackey777 its actually because the flour is spread out meaning that it has a high surface area to volume ration, the surface is where the burning can happen so if thees lots of it lots of burning can happen

  • BEHOLD THE POWER OF FLOUR!

  • Flour Power!

  • thats how hardees makes homemade biscuits lol

  • what is flour ? is it like stuff for plants ?? i am from norway so ..

  • @chrisogmartine

It's the stuff you make bread with.

  • woaaaaahh

  • thats was under a tree u unsensible!

  • omg nice

  • Great effect

  • Flour is made of glucose molecules which are flammable just like sugar, but its not flour that is explosive it's the dust that causes the damage.

  • so flour aerosolised is flamable?!?!

  • @brM0NST3R yes

  • Show how it is made.

  • How come it didn't set the trees alight?

  • lol how did you make this ?

  • i do believe u get this effect by just simply having 2 seperate detonators in the flour, the 1st one blows the flour up in the air and the second ignites and flour in the air that is near it, and it starts a chain reaction until there is no more flour

  • not to detonators, but one booster, and some flame source. you can achieve the same effect by setting of an explosive like this next to a lit fireplace./

  • dude just read what i put, the 1st one blows the flour up in the air, and the second one acts as the flame source, so really my idea would work

  • an explosion isnt a fireball. you need to have an incenary, and it has to be slow-acting.

take an acetone peroxide deflagration. it produces a flame, but its so short, it wouldnt ignite much, and just blow the flour around even more.you need something like a flash charge, or a diethyl ether vapourizer, or something that produces high temperature flames, or has a very low flashpoint.

  • @wattapassa an explosion is fast acting, mostly and explosion is just the gas that cant escape so it just blows what is in it up, so yer

  • @lisn92 Your right. what you can do is mix the first explosive with and incendiary so it not only explodes, burns afterwards catching the flour on fire.

  • exactly. blowing up a baloon really quickly is an explosion too, its not going to light anything on fire. this isnt hollywood.

  • to make a explosion followed by a fire ball, mix flour with non-dairy coffe creamer.

  • @BCSpore Mix flour and non-dairy coffee creamer to make an explosion followed by a fireball? So do you just throw a flame source on it and POOF?!

    I WANNA KNOW!!!

  • Yes that's all you do. For best results, diffuse the feul in the air first.

  • ever tried mixing in stuff ? lour can absorb stuff fairly well you would need a layered way of spreading itlikely a baloon filled with air since it's a cavvum bomb.

  • Flour can explode if there's a lot of pressure and it's really dry too.

  • pressure doesn't really have much to do with it...flour just burns really fast, and the only thing that slows it is lack of oxygen. so if you mix flour and air, and add fire, it will explode.

  • If you don't believe this can happen just look up "Dust Explosion".

  • Fine powder's have high surface areas, high surface areas increase volatility and speed of reaction. The reaction can spread very quickly across the flour igniting the flour particles in the air. BIG BOOM.

  • how is flour explosive?

  • Flour isn't explosive, its just flammable. I used an exposive (firework) to blow the flour apart into a cloud, which then lit the flour.

  • yo i wana try this.. all u need is flour bag and a 1 shot firework pointed into the bag? canada has gay firework laws so will a roman candle work?

  • you would be supprised how many things are "explosive" when its in a powder.

  • LOL

  • lmafo!

  • NEDM

  • @donnny101 AHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

  • @donnny101 you skipped spelling class to do that?

  • the flour need to be like blown on a fire or blown apart it want just burn just sitting there

  • what kind of explosive did you use.... cuz in canada most are banned... would a 1 shot rocket candle work upside down? or u need somethin like a m-80

  • its flour! Duh!

  • @xboxalot Actually, almost any powdered material is EXPLOSIVE. flour isn't even flammable.

  • @xboxalot

Flour is absolutely explosive....blow a bunch into a room and light a match if you disagree. You won't disagree for long ;)

  • @ThizzelleJunior510 Some old wheat mills that didn't control flour dust have been destroyed by dust explosions. They were probably confined conflagrations, but under rather peculiar conditions it is possible to initiate and sustain detonation in wheat flour/air mixes.

  • Flour is explosive because all an explosion (the fiery kind) is, is a very fast burn and when the flour is suspended in the air it can explode. A bag of flour cannot explode but dump that flour into a running fan (don't do that) and it can if there is anything to light it.

  • @ThizzelleJunior510 it has to do with the particals with negative and positive charges like clouds with lightning, they make static and a reaction happens

  • Yes, must be witch powder.

  • I'm quite partial to sorcerer powder, myself.

  • awesome explosion.

  • witch powder had u inn ? baking powder?

  • For all you who don't believe, look up the explosion at the custard factory . . . this follows the same principals. Small particles of the flour causes it to be very highley explosive

  • when flour is spread out it is highly flammable so it will make a huge explosion when it is lit in the air

  • shuuure!!! that was not a fluor bomb

  • JESUS CHRIST!!!

  • shit man explain i anna try this

  • me too :D

  • no way that was flour. flour doesnt explode into fire

  • Yeah, of course it does!! What is wrong with you?

  • OHMFUHGUH!!!!!

  • that couldnt be flour

  • when flower has a large surface area like if there is a cloud of flower in the air and you light a match it will explode

  • holy cow, thats rediculous. how?

  • Okay, HOW do you do this!? lol

  • flour explodes?!

  • lol

    like 10 baloon bombs

  • WOAH!

  • damn

  • that flour must've been seriously organic o.o

  • wow! how do you make this??pleas replay to me!! is it just flour shaked inside a baloon or so and put fire to it?? or is it fild with gas too?

  • explosives

  • ive seen bigger..

  • thats one great way to start a forest fire...lolz..nice job though

  • /watch?v=YAZnEUcWrRI&feature=channel_page My bomb... Really loud boom..

  • lol oft

    my 1 wsnt dat big

  • can u use flour you find in your house??

  • yeah but make ssure you shake it up

becouse sitting there nothing will happen

  • yea i know, i read it was pure flour though and wondered if house hold flours ok, thanks anyway

  • Just flour. Sitting around it isn't flammable but when it's dispersed in the air, BOOM. Works with really fine sawdust too. Miners have been killed the same way by coal dust explosions.

  • which explosive can i use?

  • Or, thanks to mythbusters, nondairy creamer... I rly wanna try it with creamer lol

  • HOLY SHIT! What was that? can't be pure flour.Or...whatever it is,please do something,a comment,a video response, anything to tell us how you did this,PLEASEEEEEE! Dude,I will be waiting AWESOME!!

  • lol dude it is pure flour.. but cornstarch might work better... idk ima try it though

  • ive tried cornstarch and nothing happened could of been a user malfunction though

  • maybe.. i made one of those w/ those balls u put in the tubes=p

  • Sweet!

  • lets make bread and light it when someones eating it

  • Lol that was funny.

  • I LOVE FLOUR

  • Flour is flammable? wth?

  • when it is like dust it is =p

  • that's bloody amazing! Should be used in movies or something

  • it is used in movies^^

  • is it just flour in the bag and nothing else

  • yeah i think

  • that loks like my boner

  • Does that also last about 4 sec?

  • hahahaha omg nice one

  • hahah props props props

  • poor guy... mine lasts way longer than i want it to.

and also, wouldn't it hurt to have a flaming dick?

  • wow you got Owned

  • youre a god for saying so

  • There is no gasoline involved. The only things I used were flour, masking tape, a bungee and a firework to detonate.

  • how?and what

  • now THATS a flour bomb xD

  • Hmmmmm this is geting me thinking. very good by the way

  • Holy sweet jesus....that was a BIG explosion

  • holy fuck

  • how do u light it? do we jus light the tip of the baloon?

  • You can't just light the flour. We used fireworks that exploded to spread the flour, then flared to ignite the cloud.

  • holy shit...that was sweet

  • how nuch flour is it

  • We used 2-10 pound bags of flour, for a total of 20 pounds.

  • I would very much appricate it if you sent me an exact copy of the directions you used to build this sweet little(is an understatement) creation! I know how to make a flower bomb, i am interested in exactly how you got it to act like a thermobaric(fuel air explosive). Did you use two detonators or one??? and what did you use to detonate it in the first place?

  • How was that irresponsible? It was done in a controlled environment, with fire extinguishers, and everyone was at a safe distance. My dad is also a fireman. How could I be MORE responsible?

  • yea thats right i was there punk

  • yeah...that almost took out some trees

  • ddaaaaaaamn myssiage u just got shook by deanie

  • WOW! :O Very nice!

  • Cool SWEET ! id like to do that on a bathroome in schole

  • was it because they never taught you how to spell?

  • ot how to use proper prepositions?

  • oooooooooooo!!!!!

  • that looks like it could have been painful..kool though......5 star
