  • Poor dogs.

  • my ex-fight dog that we rescued heard your dogs playing with the "frog" and she wanted to play too! I'm glad you were able to save the ex-bait dog. I am glad to be able to my ex-fighter. i love how well they recover from their torture! cuddles to your dogs and loves to you!

  • God Bless You!!!

  • Look okay I'm sorry, it would be sad if it was real but it's not to me that makes a stupid video to me

  • Great work gang , we need more people like you , I wish the dog fighters could take bullets right between their eyes

  • you're a good person.

  • @Hothead1236 SHUT the FUCKING UP!

  • Worked in law enforcement and currently a shelter volunteer. Thank you for saving Bones, he deserved a second chance. The less than human vermin that treated him like that should receive the same treatment. I walk pit bulls and have never had a problem with any of them. The media has done a great job of scaring people out of wanting to adopt them, KUDOS to your daughter for rescuing!

  • What the he'll is that!? The dog looks like monkey shit

  • @Hothead1236 you are a heartless person you know that? that dog came from a life of hell, being used as a bait dog to be bitten and killed, and this is how you talk about that poor dog? You obviously are a cruel and heartless person.

  • @dogagility123 hey are you blind because i love dogs but its animated so the thing of blood is fake okay the dog is fine so shut up

  • @Hothead1236 whatever dont call that dog monkey shit, because people are gonna get mad, so i suggest you shut up. i agree with your username HotHead. it fits you well. you get angry very easily

  • @Hothead1236 Ummm... hothead? Calm down and actually watch the video you are commenting on. Otherwise, you look really deluded as well as hotheaded. Not an attractive combination... well, neither qualities are attractive alone, but you get my drift... or maybe not...

  • Must have been the sicko who shot and mistreated the dog so badly who disliked this. Good on you for poor Bones, he looks happy now and in good health. Im so glad he got to see kindness.

  • wow you are soo lucky! he looks like such a sweet boy:) its so cool that he gets along with your other dog! i though that dogs that were used in dogfighting usually were aggressive towards all other dogs!

  • What a beautiful dog, god bless <3

  • Thank God for people like you dogs should be treated as a special gift not as trash. All the Best Vee.

  • good for you for taking care of this beautiful animal!! <3<3<3<3

  • I'm kind of glad you didn't put the 'before' pictures on here. Your video is very uplifting and made my day! My rescue wasn't quite that badly off when I got him, but he was found on the streets of Atlanta, and had lost 10 pounds off his normal weight. He was back to normal very quickly, and has been a loyal, great companion for over six years now.

  • THANK YOU thats the only i can say...thank you for saving him...i wish these ppl that did this will die in the worst way!!!!!

  • oo.. they are so funny.... thank God they're save

  • They are having a real good time!

  • I honestly can't understand why we can't shoot and chain up the assholes that do this to dogs.

  • @muta157 Because we are a civilized society and that's incompatible with vigilantism. And if you are talking about the death penalty, we have centuries of evidence that doesn't work to deter crime.

Just so you know, I'm not condoning violence to animals, I'm just not condoning violence to humans, either.

  • @MsJK21 lol. Civilzed. Anyway, the death penalty does not work because it is not implemented correctly and rarely. Also, the death penalty is not violent. It's quite painless. It's unfortunate, I wish it was, but no pain.

  • Well glad to hear he has a good home now ^_^.

I had a cat who was starved, beaten and stabbed. She lived a happy life with us for about 5 years then died of natural causes. I hope he continues to do well in the future, the Schnauzer too. :)

  • thank you for your work and sympathy

  • THAT EVIL BASTARD

  • who cares?

  • GOd Bless Your Hearts. Thank you for saving this sweet dog & giving her a chance at a good life. I have 5 animals, 3 cats, 2 dogs, that are pound puppies, found puppies, or cast offs from other owners. My border collie was kicked by his owner which broke his rib. People can be evil!

p.s. I have a mini schnauzer named Pepper when I was a kid!

  • Good Lord- she's just a pup! What is wrong with people? Cruelty to anything that has a life is WRONG be it human, animal, or anything else! All of my dogs are rescues and I would never have it any other way!

  • sad really.. but he is alive because of you! Fingers crossed he will save his leg..

Looks so happy in the video. Of course and he is calm and patient with the vet. That is nothing infront of all that he has been through.. and he feels your love and wormth..

thanks god, if there is any, there are still people with nice and gentle feelings in this world..

  • I hate people who would do that to a dog, so harsh them people should die in hell.

  • Beautiful dogs and beautiful souls you have. You enlarged your family with a great pet. Pepper, who wasn't the only dog you had before taking Bones in, has a gorgeous partner for play. May God bless you all and keep your entire family safe and sound. Thank you so much for sharing a happy-ending story, it's so good to know that not only bad things happend...

  • Thankfully there are such good people like you. It is wonderful to see him so happy and healthy.

We all need to get involved with the problem -the sick people who promote dog fighting and other forms of animal abuse need to be taught a serious lesson. Prison and fines no slaps on the hand!

    The Eagles hiring Vick, sick.

  • bless you and your wonderful family.. love peace and harmony

  • thank you.

  • Wow, Bones finally landed on all paws in a loving home..... Thank goodness a loving family like yours found him...he's a happy chappie now!! xx

  • That's great that you guys took him in and taking care of him. At least he has a new lease on life. Love happy endings for abused animals.

  • 2:22 omg i thought that was his head chopped off lol

  • Good work , I think anyone who could do this needs a good beating , almost dead .You can think useless Vick for the increase in dog fighting.

  • Good to see a happy ending to the story! I'm a "big dog person", but I love schnauzers, too!

  • pitbull-chat(dot)com/showthread(dot)php?t=35609

  • Good job.... So glad there are people like you out there.... I dont get how people can do things to such an awesome creature.

  • aww both of these dogs are adorable! it was so kind of you to rescue bones. im sure he brings your family so much joy. shame on whoever was abusing him, i dont understand how someone could be so cruel

  • =))

  • so cute, and great that you saved him

  • poor Puppy, glad ya'll found him.

  • Great video... From a life of hell to a life of heaven.

So glad you have him & he didn't die because of those vile people, now he has true love. Please give him a BIG kiss from all of us here at New Hope Animal Rescue. x

  • Thank you I will. I was asked to put the photos of him at the time I got him. They were so disturbing and sad. I wanted people to see that pit bulls are loyal and loving dogs all they want to do is please their owner like any other dog. He has a wonderful home that has 3 children in it and he is so loving and the couple have adopted another rescue pit from my daughter and they all live happy together. Big Kisses to all of you at New Hope for doing what you do.

  • thank you.

  • aw my nose got stuffy and my eyes got watery from reading the description! i love doggies!!! i've wanted one all my life i had one but she wasnt really mine more like my family friends dog but came to visit alot but then she got lost =( and i dont know if she is alive or not...well i hope she met some good people like you!!

  • thank god there are people like you in the world.

what a great dog, having a blast playing and living the kind of life all pups should live!!

  • aw hes so cute!!

  • Good on u people .. ur the best ...Well done & Good luck ..

  • He is very lucky to have found you! Puppies often get attacked on the head/back by larger dogs due to their size and lack of ability to escape or offer proper submission gestures, they aren't always "bait dogs". I have a tiny pup that was injured on the head/neck by an adult and this is a common injury with housepets when proper introductions aren't done, just don't like the "bait dog" stigma as it's often a self fulfllling prophecy and encourages such use of small animals. Did he keep his leg?

  • By your response I guess I should have put the more grapic pictures of the dog when he was found so people could see the difference today. My daughter rescues pit bulls and this one was in BAD shape that all shelters wanted to put him down. I made the choice to take care of him. It was not a common injury. None of them wear. I decided to put the good video of him recovering not the one of his sad face and starved body. He did not loose his leg and has recovered fully.

  • @milinia2002

I am happy that you have helped this dog! After so much pain and suffering he has found a family who cares very much and is loving and gentle!....thank s for seeing that there are also some happy ends for such animals, that other people illtreat and discard......

  • You see, you are one of the people who deserves all the money in the world, although you wouldn't want it because you're so loving. I'd do exactly the same. I only read a few words of the description box and I was touched. This has cheered me up, and good luck with your dog! :D

  • There is nothing more loving and loyal than a dog and it amazes me how many vile people there are in this world that can harm them. It is wonderful what you are doing and I hope he makes a full recovery.

  • Thank yopu so much for your comments he is doing well and it will take time for him to adjust and be considered in other peoples eyes a good dog. He has his issues but with alot of love and hard work he will make a great dog, companion, and family pet. We still can't understand how people can be so mean to the innocent.

  • So nice of you and Kleck to take him in. Sweet video.
