  • it is very good, congratulation from Colombia

  • what did he do at 1:43 ??

  • @Sugepowada

the key point is that u needa make a component of one of the lines

  • hard to predict. and did not understand the way making of helix

  • whhhhhhhhat

  • that is crazy haha

  • D'oohhh!!!!!!!!

  • numbers are important for this geometry, he type in 15° in rotation ( 1:11 ), then 14 for offset ( 1:23 ) and finally, 1° ( 1:37 ) for copy, after this, the lines should be connected, hope that helps

  • i honestly have no idea how u got the lines to connect. i set it at what u did and got the full circle of helix, but couldnt select one line, i dont think they were attactched properly.

  • @Kooshism i had the same problem and discovered, that the lines wont connect if the i have no "max-outer" line. try to draw your circle radius along one of the axis.

  • just ultiplicate the rotación al 1:34. Look up side down. he put *359. catch ah?

  • im lost at 1:34....how it happened????

  • stuck on 1:57?, well before that, when you make a copy of 1:38, make sure the lines connect (how i did it :P) try set angle 0.9, after that when u are at the full circle part 1:44, select all, select a line and then double/triple click, and you should select all lines that ur clicked line is connected to,

    thats how i did,

if u cannot understand i'm sorrry, cant help...

  • How do you avoid the crack in the model created by the follow me tool at the follow me-initiation point? It seems the circle takes a step, follows the path, than overlaps leaving an anomaly. Is there a formulaic way to avoid this?, its a recurring problem I've noticed...

  • you have a fast computer.

  • Sure would have been a lot better with some naration

  • 1:57 he selected all then shift selected 1 line then pressed delete. that leaves you with only one helix.

  • @seedsisam I can't select one line, i can only select small pieces. The "line" isn't connected..? And i can't make it connected.

  • That was just awesome ! ...

  • im lost from 1:34 to 1:44 i have no idea whats going on there....help?

  • @guitar1195 ok so what he did was to use compass tool. After he let go, he typed the number digit between the original one and the copied one. Then he typed 359X

which makes the copy of 359of the model selected. Although i have no idea how to do 1:57.... you should ask somebody else for that.

  • hey where do you get de 15º rotation and the 14º and even the cantity of copies(359) did you use a formula or something???

  • wow amazing, but how do you take the action at 1:57? Where you select only those bits that form a helix?

  • amasing and simple thnx

  • It's very impressive video. But I didn't get one point. What action you did on 1:35 for making this pattern be multiple, until it got looped ?

  • @manoftnuva he used the rotate tool and then pressed ctrl that makes it make a copy of what u rotate

  • @MasterofTutoriaL96

thx for reply. With this tip the video looks more brilliant :P

  • @manoftnuva no problem

  • You are genius!!! Congratulations!!!

  • Simply great !

  • Wow!

  • Real genius ...!!!

  • Best I've seen!

  • How do you make a Rotated Copies? what is the keys for that?

  • This one is real genius. Thanks for the video

  • I really like your innovative approach to modeling. Some of these ideas are really hard to come by.

Thanks for uploading the video. It introduces a lot of ideas.

  • you're my favorite

  • bravooo
