  • Hi Frédéric, excellent new tune, thanks for posting! It´s always a pleasure.

And finally I´m back again to see and listen to your videos using a legal anonymizer in the internet, since GEMA in Germany has still restricted the access to your vids in Germany. Keep on grooving! :-)

  • @marnin1960 Thank you my friend. So it's possibe to bypass the problem. Great! Anyway I hope they will be able to find a agreement soon. This problem is lasting long now...

  • @FMGuitar Good griefs, restricting access to these beautiful music videos of yours without your consent should be qualified as crime against humanity.

  • Unique melodic flow.

  • Great as usual !!! Thanks for your music ...

    Everything you write.

    Your playing.

But, most of all, your emotion you express facially.

Sets you apart form all the others Fred.

  • I like your music!

  • An excellent asprin. I don't have a hangover but a head cold. This is wonderfully soothing. Thank you so very much for sharing. I took lessons in 1975 and it this reminds me of them though much much more experienced! My lessons were in Classical. Would your song be in that catergory? Again, thank you for sharing such beauty.

  • I was begining to think you totaly forgot about us mr. Mesnier, no video shared with us for quite a long time. Thank you so much for sharing with us !

  • U R so Pro Sir. GRatz from Colombia. Again and Again

  • Beautiful! Have you ever heard the Sore Feet Song by Ally Kerr? I would love to hear your version of it. Keep up the good work! If only I were so patient. I tried to learn, broke my wrist and had to stop. I hope to begin again soon.

  • c'est tres bon, don't laugh but you inspired me to play guitar with finger picking

  • Most enjoyable!

  • Your music always fills me with inspiration. Thank you for sharing it with us.

  • Frederic! Can you tell us who is the luthier of this marvelous instrument?

Thank you for keeping music alive!

    Greetings from Brazil!

    Glauco

  • Very nice composition and playing. I will say that the commercial add prior to your video is a little annoying.

    Ron

  • @13crickets That's how he makes money here!

  • @Xerxes4242 Indeed, my friend, I understand the motivation. It is just that a fine composition such as this should not be preceded by a chain saw and a weed eater. It is just not germane. Usually, I immediately exit a video with such, however, I know and respect this artist very much and endured the cacophony to hear the composition. I meant no disrespect with my simple comment.

    Ron

  • @13crickets Haha, maybe you got a different ad than me then, mine was just the usual Progressive ad - seeing as I don't drive, they're quite useless to me.

  • Listening to your music makes me feel like you're my friend. Like I know you. You speak through your songs. Few are capable of doing such. Well done, you have told us another great story Fred (:

  • @Jaje91 That's what music is capable to do: connect people that don't know each other and will likely never meet. . Thanks for raising this point, it's very much true.

  • @FMGuitar hey sir, i want to ask u a question all other players out there use so much processed sound and different processors and other instruments along with guitar to give effects and all... i would really like to know y do you always play such plain beautiful music without any effects like others on youtube like andy mckee and antoine dufour if you may know..admirin your level of talent and playin i would really like to know your view regarding this :)

  • @acousticx77mythil Hi, I should put something in the description about this as I often get the question. There is no effect except little reverb. Yes I know of course Antoine Dufour and Andy McKee. Great guitarists with their own sound and style. And I guess their recordings also use some postreatment reverb and may be some compression too (but not sure).

  • I wish I could play guitar like you. My problem is that all my notes come out short and staccato because its hard to switch to different chord positions quickly!

  • Amazing... I hope someday I might be as skilled as you!

  • this reminds of toy story...

  • What a quality upload, Frederic! Quality song, quality video with quality edit.

Hey, love video intro too! :) More power.

  • @ErisRon Thanks a lot. Everytime I try to improve and offer the best I can do. It's a long way and it's hard work but all your comments make me move forward.

  • Fred what style of music do you play and as always it so inspiring. is there a way where maybe i can order a cd?

  • you really know how to make a great guitar solo

  • Sem comentários. O vídeo já diz tudo! Perfeito!

  • I love all your videos. You have really inspired me to advance on my acoustic playing, even though I am mainly an Electric guitar player. Great videos, excellent stuff :)

  • I've enjoyed 90% of the music you have made and there isn't a song so far you have done I wouldn't let run in the background while reading or enjoying a good meal.. Thank you for the wonderful picking >:)

  • simply beautiful - as always. You should make a CD album :) consider that :)

  • beautiful music, much aloha to you

  • Are there any tabs for your music?

  • @Kayfear Certainly. Have a look at the description. Enjoy! Fred

  • Its a shame that you can't hear the applause your getting every time someone watches one of your videos.

  • @GSJacket I read your posts and it means the same. Thanks for kind words

  • beautiful!

  • vc é extraordinario, parabens

  • Beautiful. You should film outside. It would be really nice.

    -With live from NY

  • Wonderful Masterpiece ;)

    Can I ask a question please? :)

What model of Maurice are you using in the video? :)

    cheers.

  • @TheHarmonicGuitar Thanks. It's a concert L model. Not the very top guitar from him do but I have a special connection with this guitar.

  • @FMGuitar Thank you ;) and keep making these masterpieces, they are wonderful :)

  • "Our lives are the rivers that run to the sea, which is our death". Fantastic my friend.

  • Hey Fred..you again impressed me with this piece...I would also like to hear more medieval/baroque themed songs...I just love your medieval song/dance and barock progressif. Cheers! :)

  • @dzedav11 That's right I had a medieval period. May will it come back. Who knows. Thanks for comment

  • gosh, so great!

  • Is funny how in his channel says: Self-taught and non-professional.

  • @Pucothemage007 and that's right... But I wouldn't advise not to take lessons. It goes much faster... Thanks for your comment.

  • @FMGuitar Yes, I would like to say that Im also self taught, and been playing for good 5 years, thank you, your videos always inspire me to become a better person an musician :)

  • That's really beautiful! What other words could describe it? Beautiful!

  • I want to cry every time I listen to one of your songs, because they are so beautiful and clean.

  • .. Learn us to play guitar like you! We want some theory from you!! So... awesome!!!

  • @TheGpaFilms Actually it is planned... I will upload guitar lesson videos about my songs. I'm not a teacher but I'll do my best to explain how I play them. Just need some time because this is ... time consuming ;)) Thanks for your message

  • @FMGuitar really that is going to be cool can't wait

  • @FMGuitar Thanks! That will be awesome!

  • @FMGuitar That is fantastic! I hope one day I will play at least half as good as you.
