The blue helicopter is not a Lama but an Alouette II with high skids. It was sold to the USA then to Ireland and sadly it crashed in 2008. :-(

As of 2008 i have been working hard, hoping to have her back in the air by Summer 2011.

Hello no I don't have old pictures with the ss-11... I edited this clip with pictures taken between 1999 and 2001... I hope that you'll be able to find what you search somewhere...

Hello, thanks for your reactions. In fact I had no other choice to mix a "neutral" Alouette II sound with music. The sound I recorded in the helicopter was the conversations between the pilots (in french). I used it for the TV reports I made about the trips with the helicopters. But for a clip, the solution "turbine sound" + music was the only one.

No, keep the music. I agree that the turbine sounds sweet but the relaxed ambient beat fits really well. A nicely put together montage - well done. (That tail rotor still looks a little too delicate for my liking, though!...)

Get rid of the fucking music. You don't need it when you have a beautiful turbine sound from one of the greatest choppers ever! Why do you people always have music and why so loud.  It ruins the point of the video, It ain't an action film!

The video very good and the Helicopter is the craziest. I like all those flashing lights. cool cool. I have made a few videos of crop dusting aircrafts one of which is my father's Z-37 but helicopters are way cooler than airplanes.
