  • I'll tell you my secret: I practice my scales - all the time. Shoosh! Don't tell ANYBODY!!! Thanks. Bob :o)

  • *gasp* me too

but i might do it different i do all the major scales in triplets form with the sevenths eg. a normal F scale

    F G A Bb C D E F would turn into

FACE GBDF ACEG BbDFA and so on and so on................. thatz how my teacher taught me

  • Yes! You're harmonizing arpeggios. And they sound great on pan too. You had a very smart teacher. He taught you about MUSIC, not just about the instrument...

  • Comment removed

  • @SteelDrumMusic there is nothing wrong with practicin scales man. its what makes a musician better

  • ugly fat man get outta that view!

  • *laughs* Sorry : D

  • kick ass! yah man! good stuff

  • Fun song but why the canned applause at the end? Do you ever perform with a full steel pan group, or just with karaoke/music-minus-one track?

  • The bald guy at :44 is annoying.

  • Great stuff!

Crowds are meant to be zombies.

This guy is just trying to reviving them in the most beautiful way.

  • i like how people cheer everytime he starts to play

  • I just stumbled on this, WOW I'll have to favorite this one.

    Thanks, TPD

  • How's this song normally called, cause i love it =P

  • "Red Red Wine" originally by Neil Diamond, the composer. Most people have only heard the cover version by UB40.

  • Reggae version by Tony Tribe first! ;)

  • Cool. Just checked them out. Nice soulful ska version. I never heard of them before. Thanks...

  • I like the end bit when the clapped and the very start.. because they other functions seems like the crowd are zombies lol... because this guys musical is magnificent. ;)

  • Love itttt!!!!! Awesome

  • i know how to play this! my school has a steel band nd i play bass (the 5 drums)

  • AMAAAAAAAAAAZING Bob! AMAZING!

  • ...stupid guy in front of the camera with a camera half the time yelling...*grunt*

  • haha! the best time my steel band had ever had was when a lady showed up to a public concert in a bikini!! And i will just say that maybe that wasn't her best look........*shudder*

    ah memories....

  • hey! my band plays for partys sometimes.. you're mostly just background noise and entertainment but you're right, when they come up and compliment you after a song you feel great!

  • these people are lame i'd be very entranced and at least swaying to the cool tunes

  • lol i used to be in a steel band and i remeber this one performnce we went to at someones garden party..we recieved a few claps at the begining and then the people just kinda did their own thing..lol but our band didnt mind and we had a fun time any way..it was nice for one of the guests to come up to us after and tell us he appreciated the music and especially the Shaggy 'Angel' song we played, and how the guests would clap yet they had champagne glasses in their hand so couldnt..lol good times

  • lamusy a nie publiczność. Nice drums

  • I agree with redcushion I'd be partying too!

  • omg, if i was there- id be blind drunk dancin in front of him claiming how mush i love reggae, ub40 and steel drums lol. the audience's reaction is disgraceful!!!!

  • You are great! The people at that party are so lame, how can they just stand there while you play such a cool song, especially on steel drums. They should be jamming.

  • wish some one would grab a mike, and just sing it

  • He is really good

  • Echt geile Musik!!! Großartig!!!

  • Ohhh man...I LUV THIS SONG. I wish the idiots woulda shut. They do know how to enjoy good music...i'm jammin right now!!!!

  • You sound great man, forget those people in the video we youtubers appreciate it very much, Jah Guide & Protect, Jah Bless, Jah Rastafari!

  • i only hear yankees call our music steel drum back home we call it steel pans

  • You are magnificent but your audience is unappreciative they should all be slapped ;)

  • I'll slap the ignorant audience, they are so rude....they dont appreciated it at all...

  • Amen to that one!

  • Some tell uncle Fester to sit down.

  • somone should have slapped him down and told him to shut up and have respect!!!!

  • wow you are soooo good.. I love how you softly start up... very charming

  • By the what genre does this fall under? calypso?

  • original song is reggae.

  • Tony Tribe was the earliest reggae artist I recall doing this song. Version is on You Tube.

  • Great playing. I like how a big bald guy materializes at 0:30

  • hes playing a mezzo right?

  • WICKED! He is really good.

  • what is that bald mother fucker doing blocking the drums..

    fuck off baldy

  • Cant you see his head is as shiny as the pans

  • A couple of things to realize. He is one person playing the song, so don't try to compare one person to a band. And second of all, different people, or groups, have different arrangements for tunes. So even though he may not be playing rythms that you're not familiar with, doesn't mean they're wrong.

  • mol9521 ur a dipshit

  • * * * right on * * *

  • stay in texas then...thats far enough away from trinidad ya douchebag.

  • Your Great!! Next time tell baldy to take a hike. Ha

  • beautiful

  • You're just amazing... speechless

  • Wonderful sounds you are very talented.
