  • Love your voice man. :)

  • @SmokeyIvoryWay Thanks! I wish my guitar playing had been a little better in this video.

  • I love it!! Such a great interpretation!! Faved it xx

  • Bad tempo.. too fast. way too fast

  • This video was really good... Wonderful playing and a wonderful voice! I enjoyed this alot!

  • That's a broken propeller from an ultralight airplane that crashed next to our high school. A young friend of mine found it on the soccer field the next day.

  • Is that a helicopter propeller behind you?!

  • excellent, been listening for 30 mins now. Really enjoyed that. Exactly what Youtube is meant for.

    Thank you.

    Tom

  • i love the way you do this one too. you tube guys and gals reading this, go see his version of stardust...you'll like it.

  • loved it!! <3 love the song and you have a beautiful voice =)

  • If you type in "When you wish upon a star cover" on you tube you get 400 9 year old girls singing it and this guy.

  • Gee, I'm sorry I popped up when you were looking for videos of nine year old girls—sounds like you're an expert at it! Hope I didn't make you lose your...uh..."mood".

  • Hahahah! good call! and good cover mate, well done :)

  • Good job, a pleasure to see you play and sing

    bw

  • Thank you for listening. The popularity of this video and all the kind comments are pleasant surprises to me.

  • Nice, man. Very nicely done. Thanks.

  • Thanks for listening!

  • honestly, whenever i think of this song, i think of your voice and your guitar, its amazing and beautiful and it could never have been done better just becuase of the authenticity and the pure talent

  • Thank you—when I hear this song, I can't help thinking of Jiminy Cricket!

  • Really... I am with you! This cat has the voice and the stylings like no other! He's great!

  • Just added this to my favorites for when I feel a bit down & blue .

Great perfomrance M8 , thanks for that.

  • Thanks--the lyrics are words to live by. Action motivated by love is the only way to true success.

  • i love this. do u have the tabs? my gf wants me to play this for her.

  • Sorry, no, I don't have tabs. I just made it up--didn't write anything down.

  • Where is "Jiminy Cricket" when you need him?

    Seriously, this was great!

  • Really liked the singing

    and guitar. Well done!!!

  • ...at 01:18, when you started that swing and singing, I felt like taking my guitar (not worthy mention the model, nothing fancy) or the harmonica (Toots Thielemans Mellow Tone)) and do something...one of my favourite songs...thanks, GibsonAndVega, for the beautiful gift...take care :o)

  • You should have done that, and made a video of it! I'd love to hear a harmonica solo on this! Toots is the bomb--I might do a video of Bluesette if I can get my whistling together enough.

  • Your guitar is a whole step down, is it not?

  • Yes. I play that way all the time.

  • You're very talented!

You should try doing more bass covers.

    Beatles would be cool!

  • I'm shopping for software so I can do multitrack recordings and put bass on my guitar vids. There's a USB mixer I can order through the store that comes with Cubase, which I've heard good reviews of.

  • sonar is an amazing package, m audio products rock too, get the audio buddy with a fast track and put a guitar lead between the two. rode mics are nice as well, the nt1-a is awesome =D

Email me if you wanna know any more, commenting here is very limited.

  • I have looked at the M Audio stuff. Unfortunately, the store I worked for closed last week, so now that I have no "day job" income and have to pay retail, I won't be buying anything like that soon.

  • ur pretty talented ther

  • Nice sound, What guitar you using? looks like an L5,?

  • That's a Vega E202. I'm not sure what year, but my guess is 1949. The original pickups were gone when I found it, so I've installed a D'Armond floating pickup and a Fishman bridge pickup.

  • I wish I could play the lovely tunes like that on the Guitar. I wish learnt to play, I am 25 26 in July they is time, I like to play the Keyboard too

  • Really nice - I tried that song in a similar arrangement a while back - my fingers just weren't up to the task - Another one I work on from time to time is 'Over the Rainbow' but same problem - need more skill than I have (lol) THanks

  • Yeah, sure, I'll get right on that. After I've redone it, would you like to review it before I post it to be sure it meets your specifications?

  • don't get mad man, I think he was just giving constructive criticism, I also think your intro was choppy, but you are still pretty great, and I am sure the other guy thinks the same.

  • You call it "choppy", I call it "a piacere". That's okay. I'm not mad, I'm just amused that merseygroup would offer instructions as if I played it that way by accident. In the words of Pee Wee Herman: "I MEANT to do that!"

  • ahha i feel the same way when i get annoying comments like that ;)

  • and Nsync's version is quite cool too :P

  • You are a great artist and awesome musician. This guitar sounds great also!!!I look forward to a new performances.

  • Sorry, I just made this up in my head, so there isn't any sheet music. I have little skill with written music, so writing out something this complex would be a major project for me.

  • You made me smile - I loved it!

  • slow it down, brother and make it expressive

  • watch PAtty B's version if you want slow, expressive and BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • Very nice! :)
