Those Japs do love to remind us all what their names are, don't they? I noticed this a lot in Metal Gear Solid as well. They'd say each other's name, pretty much in every conversation. Pronouns are forbidden, LOL

when kaori refers to tetsuo she says tetsuki and when kai refers to kaneda she says kanedaku. dose anyone know why.

@tokyorider2019 It's to do with Japanese honorific suffixes. I don't know much about Japanese but Kaori calls Tetsuo 'Tetsuo-kun' and Kai refers to Kaneda as 'Kaneda-kun'. This is what Wikipedia says about kun: "It can be used by females when addressing a male that they are emotionally attached to" among other things.

have you even seen the movie? If you had, you'd know that akira was the first child, the one who went through everything tetsuo goes through in the film first. He's the mysterious absent equal to tetsuo's power who tetsuo seeks when he has his power, he's the answer to all the questions in the story, who is akira? he was the first tetsuo, what happened to him? well that journey is the story of the film, thats why its called akira.

yeh, Kaneda's stuck out more for some reason, but Tetsuo had about 4 more than Kaneda (approximately 27 compared to 23)

@watachiwawachi Probably because I remember Kaneda on the whole being *louder* than Tetsuo...or at least not having other noise in the background overshadowing his yelling so it just *seemed* louder to the audience.
