  • great so now ppl can do fake nature videos with no problem.... :D

  • amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this probably took all of 2011 to render.........

  • A little too spongy.

But otherwise, very well done. You know the water is realistic when you get that primal sense of dread deep inside your chest, the one that you get only when you stare into a deep, dark pool of water.

  • holy shit! so realistic

Me: yay i got a new gtx 590 get ready to render this

gtx 590: oh hell no *SLAP*

  • I don't believe it is rendered.. You must have a mini killer whale in a aquarium or something..

  • Excellent! I'm just beginning to work with After Effects. Intel Quad core i7, 8GB Ram, 2GB Nvidia.

  • :)

  • decrease the amount of foam

  • i dont know very much this programm but this is amazing!

  • My computer would prolly die trying to render this... lol.

  • oh look. my ex

  • 1 guy is a killer whale hunter..

  • I will not survive to this but ... I want to see a computer that can run an ocean on real flow :P

  • Amazing job by the way, this is awesome.

  • realfow is a software and has an integration plugin for maya, 3ds max, c4d etc

  • @guptanurag91 Okay, so it's both? Interesting.

  • Not bad, but you need a hamburger in there somewhere.

  • Imagine to render that ocean scene from Madagascar...

I know they have a renderfarm, and I know that it probably isn't a water simulation, but more like a animated surface or something... but still :P

what if it was actually a water simulation ^^

  • Looks real in every way

  • beautiful.

  • sorry could please someone tell me if realflow will work on my PC ?

    spec :

    celeron 1.2ghz overclocked to 1.6ghz

    ram 800mb ddr

    graphic card intel

    hdd x4200 5gb

please please tell me if it will work on my pc

  • @Alice70137 Software and Hardware Requirements for Windows (32 and 64):

Windows XP, Vista, 7 or Windows Server 2008.

    2 GHz Intel® Pentium® 4 processor, Athlon 64 AMD or better.

2GB RAM minimum. 4GB of RAM memory is recommended.

    Hardware-accelerated OpenGL® graphics card.

400 MB available hard disk space for installation.

    3 button mouse.

  • @RealFlowLabs Pentium 4 would die doing this. You'd need a render farm if you wanna use this in a motion picture!!

  • @Alice70137 Whats it like in 2003?

  • @JJRimmer 1653, you mean?

  • @Alice70137 How does your computer even run an operating system? Holy shit. That's fucking terrible.

    You MUST be trolling.

  • Pls Pls Pls Pls make a tutorial!

  • @Morrwell you can learn more about this scene at luismma.wordpress blog

  • @RealFlowLabs oh nice thank you

  • Teach me your ways of the ocean

  • The person that disliked just did it because they wanted to be cool

  • Jelly :D

  • I came... I saw... and I came again... all in my new boxers :/

  • my comp will die while rendering... how much drops there???

    tutorial plz.

  • @ThePostMovie you can learn more about this scene at luismma.wordpress blog

  • wtf..amazing

  • what? OMFG!!!

  • witchcraft! amazing

  • chhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!! ORCA!!!

  • oshit thats awezome!

  • That's amazing you should make a tutorial

  • @CrossBoy3100 you can learn more about this scene at luismma.wordpress blog

  • Thats acctually scary lmfao but sick

  • tutorial!

  • who can dislike this O.o ?!!?!

  • Hah!!

  • AMAZING!! ,how to make it?

    .

  • @thai3dimention you can learn more about this scene at luismma.wordpress blog

  • @RealFlowLabs is there a place where i can download pre-made simulations?

  • @MyFaceHole You can download the scene from luismma.wordpress blog

  • Fuck you ! That looks so real!

  • dunno how i came to this from political discussion about China invading US

  • in the words of Freddy Krueger,

    Great Graphics!!! Thumbs up

  • @Spamazoid thats what i call a prime time bitch! hhahaha

  • sry for the one dislike..

  • WHAT THE FRIDGINICKLEDOODLES!!? i need your talent

  • i just came

  • Just, AWESOME !

  • How many particles?

  • @iceman78772 100 bajillion

  • O_O can't believe!

  • The best I have seen! Although the whale looks a bit plastic

  • wow

  • Too much splash, but the foam is just absolutely perfect, and so is the fluid!

  • Can't understand, why 1 Person does not like this video.

I mean, how cant you love this cuddly delphin?

  • @pauliepalfy It's a killer whale lol.

  • Hey master of CG, I can't seem to find your website, got an URL?

  • WHOHOHOHOHOOWWW! ULTRA COOL EFFECTS! I CAN SEE TWO LAYER OF FLUIDS HERE. THE TOP LAYER, the thin blue green on the top. The other one the large thick amount of lime green below. WHEN Both mixed IT'S MAKES THE BRAIN CRAZY!

  • I actually said 'awesome' out loud. Amazingly realistic fluid dynamics

  • 1 dislike = 1 motion graphics God

  • Amazing how did you make the whale?

  • woooow

  • If i tried to render this my computer would salp me in the face

  • Real life isn't that beautiful.

  • sickckckck

  • lol the water is not falling from sides

  • tutorial!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @nessor7913 you can learn more about this scene at luismma.wordpress blog

  • Jesus wants his computer and his software back !

  • free willie?

  • Офигенно!

  • This look so real :O

  • Awesome! Hey I just thought of this... why not motion-capture water motion? Put a bunch of ping-pong balls on the surface and track them, just like human motion.

  • Is it just me or does some foam appear out of nowhere at 0:02-0:03??

  • @SBareSSomErMig

actually yes i think it is a bug

  • 1 guy whithout knowledge

  • so nice !!

  • What was this rendered with? Looks OOOOO-some!

  • @greje656 the scene was rendered with Maxwell Render

  • thats impressibe shit.

  • Wow. Just wow.

  • great work!

  • To be honest, the splash when it breaks the surface looks like there would be two whales, one jumping right behind the first one.. other than that good. Because of the whale's fin, and the whale's "hydrodynamic shape" it wouldn't create such a splash..

  • This is brilliant, wow looks real.

  • That is absolutely wonderful!!

  • this is AMAZING, i mean water, shark is not real but that doesn't matter, this is freaking awesome :D, only thing is that maybe a little bit less bubbles, but it is still the best i saw :)

  • holy cow , yhis must took you a moth to render this

  • MARAVILLOSO !

  • why isnt this used in games???? all modern games have shitty water

  • @tomazevic0tomazevic water like this takes hours to render just 11 seconds. games have to create water usually in less than 1/30 of a second. games have to "fake" it. i wish games could render water like this in real time though.

  • @tomazevic0tomazevic well they could use it in game, but then to play game whenever you make 1 step you will have to wait 5 hours for game to render :P

  • @fakyarmadarfakar wow didnt know that :D

they need to do something about that :P

10 years from now this will be in every game :P

  • @tomazevic0tomazevic 10 years.. hmm maybe, but water isn't really the priority, priority is to make other physics realistic, because in most fps you shoot, destroy, they need to make realistic object destruction, which also takes a lot of render (but less) if they are good (try searching dmm) and all that object + water :/, i think we will have in that time water like oecake's water (real time rendering) because oecake lags when there is a lot water and in games if you want river you need LOTS.

  • Well... it looks like computer graphics have improved a bit or two from space invaders till now...

  • Insane. So real.

  • look so real :O

  • Great work- just brilliant software!

  • Can you tell me the settings ?

  • wooow

  • That's incredible. 2 thumbs up, if I could on Youtube

  • awesome!! can i ask u how did u render it? did u use renderman ?or maxwell? in maya or 3dmax?

  • just (Whale) disliked it cuz became tired of swimming.

  • BEST DX11

  • At first i thought another Not so special water simulation, then the Whale comes out and im like O_O

  • Very nice indeed.

  • u can render it in realtime yet, but developers should make water animations/effects of that quality!

  • Im guessing this is not free?

  • @Marquezcid RealFlow is the definitive tool for creating flawless large- and small-scale fluid and dynamics simulations straight out of the box. You can find more information about pricing and license types in our webpage.

  • @Marquezcid u can use blender its free and has fluid sim build in

  • @Marquezcid

That's a no then, lol XD

  • i had a dream that a killer whale ate me so i can wake up.

  • Now I hope games add ACTUAL physics like this.

  • meow

  • something is strange about the up-down movement of the water..

  • OMG OMG! that is amazing! how do you do that. wooowww

  • How the fuck you render real life?

  • Very nice animation indeed!!! Was this using realwave and particles at the same time? Please give us a little tuto ;)

  • this is great, its one of the most realistic ones I have seen

  • That was amazing.

  • This is the best water rendering movie on youtube!!!

  • GEIL!

  • This is like seaworld but with a freaking awesome realisticnis!

  • it reminds me of my bathtub

  • Comment removed

  • I could watch this .11 second clip for an hour and still wowed.

  • Best shit I've seen done!

  • wow looks great

  • jesus fuckin christ that is beautiful good shit my man

  • better than hollywood movies

  • fucking liar this real life stupid

  • @JoakimJockeHansson lol its not real life

  • @lyricscartel It was a joke, you're right it sounded seriuse xD

  • Please respond what is your CPU name how much RAM do you have and how long did it take to render and stuff

  • Dear @FsimulatorX, the scene was generated with an ntel Xeon - 2x E5620 quad core processor @ 2.40GHz 12GB RAM con Windows 7. I'm afraid we cannot give you a good idea of the time taken because it was created with the RealFlow 2012 beta version.

  • @FsimulatorX

the rendertime is 24 hours or so(they upped other video of this in the "preview" rendering mode and in that it said 24 hours)

  • THE most kick ass simulation outside of a movie

  • This is Real!

  • first video on youtube that doesnt get a dislike

  • im going to get some accounts to like this at least 3 times.

  • WoW imagine this in a game.

  • That looks AWESOME, only the aerodynamics are a little off. a killer wales body isn't going to make that much water rise above the surface. it's sleek skin and oval shaped head makes it cut through the water. but the splash would be similar to that.

  • OMG!

  • This is soooo unreal real :O

  • I think that YOU should get a life, and a better mother

  • @bariscan90

I think that YOU should get a life!

  • Hi @bariscan90 , splash particles dissapear when hitting the main fluid surface, converting them in foam

  • @bariscan90

    "why splashes disappear?"

Because your mother is a whore, that's why they disappear.

  • @ZzRvXzZ

    lol good reason

  • @ZzRvXzZ you pwned that cunt, like a boss... cheers

  • Can you tell me simulation and render times?

  • That could have EASILY become a clip for some SYFI

    Good job.

  • why is it alwas realflowlabs who has the best videos? (because it is a team)

  • which package did u render this in ?

  • how much particled the water have?

    :D
