  • @NickDClements how longd it take to make lol

  • @semperfisemperceler I saw the add for the contest about a month before the deadline, i spent about two weeks molding the figures, and building the sets, and a friday and saturday, filming and editing.

  • i lol'd at stanley in the background at 0:14

  • ha, yup, it's all about the details. he pops in again at 0:20 and 0:22 as well. it's a bit a of a shame, clay stanley was probably one of the best looking figures and you don't even get to see him in focus.

  • thanks. i think pam could have been a little prettier... i always have trouble sculpting women... but yeah i was rather pleased with it.

  • The funniest parts:

    Stanley sitting in the background.

Jim's face with Pam at the desk.

    LMAO!

  • I agree!

  • Awesome.

    Great Work

  • aHow long did taht take you?

  • your really good at clay stuff. I LOVE THE OFFICE!

  • i love how ryan has the biggest nose

  • hea, yeah. I thought I made jim's pretty big but you're right, ryan ended up with a nice large honker!

  • wow, this was really good

i find it incredible how you got it shot by shot, you can really see the effort you put into it.

  • Did you check out the side-by-side copy? You can really see how well the shots matched up. "The Office - The Clay Office - Side By Side.mpg"

  • soo soo awesome and very close to the intro

  • Yeah I tried to match as many details as closely as I could. I didn't model Phyllis, but she was only in the one shot and mostly hidden by Jim, and I was pressed for time. I figured I might as well make Stanly as he is like the only black guy that made the intro. And since I went through all the trouble of modeling him I just through him into a couple of extra shots, like behind the window and standing next to the water cooler.

  • very well done, it must have taken a lot of time and patience to create it.

  • I saw the ad for the contest entry amount 3, 3 an a half weeks before the entry deadline. I spent about two weeks modeling the characters and designing the sets and props. I spent a Friday evening and all day the following Saturday animating and editing.

  • wow, I tried doing claymation once and I did not have the patience for it. It was for a school project and it turned out awful.

BTW, I also like how got every detail from the original intro and you even included Stanley in the background

  • Thanks. I'm sure your's wasn't that bad, animation is cool like that, if you manage to make something static move in one way or another you have at least done one thing right.
