I'm from Kyoto, Japan. I was an exchange student and went to Harding High. Class of 89! It is such a long time ago. Never visited to St. Paul after I came back to Japan. I was home-staying at American family. My host parents were perfect person. Host father was a medical doctor. He used be a legislator in St. Paul. Now I am a dermatologist. A lot of good effect from him. He has gone to heaven last year. I miss every moment in St. Paul. Beautiful memories.
Well i grew up goodrich by st. thomas seminary, well i was the only latino growing up in this joint up on grand and to be honest you couldn't miss me. i went to open school until i was a sophmore and i l got the courage to get out of there and went como park high and i'm glad i made that change. my brother's employee was doing that chicken dance for dominos. so its nice to get online and check out the old neighborhood man, keep up the good work.
the twin cities always intrigued me. st paul really seems to hold its own in your vids - it looks like it has some substantial historic bones. i look forward to visiting one day, seems to be very nice.
(my pansy florida-born ass will have to visit during the summer though)
Thanks for posting. Lived in St. Paul for 15 years and this use to be my hang out. Know all those places on Grand....News Cafe, Caffe Latte, Starbucks, Purple Onion, Green Mill etc. I just love this place.Really can't wait for the day I return..........." I shall return "
@JohnnyPie117 , which high school did u go too? when i miss the school bus or i didn't have a car to drive to school, i had to take the grand ave. and i had get off on dale and walk about a mile to selby up on frogtown, man they're was some crazy ass moments when i had to wait for the bus, and sometime the dale bus would take a while, it got me off on west rose ave. off a 2 blocks away from como park high school. great times and long ass bus rides. but frogtown is ghetto but it's changed.
I saw the Meat Puppets at Grand Old Days some years ago. And when punk rock kids are starving, they ride their bikes up to that new french bakery to dumpster dive. Grand ave is GRAND!

And agreed Dale St = Road to Ghetto. Took it many a time in high school to get to the ghetto.
