  • Dry ice doesn't melt at room temp right?

  • press 9 for fun!

  • like a boss

  • Can i Use Dry Ice for beverages ?

  • im gonna chop some ice today.......

    *pulls out saw*

    muhahahaha

  • Our school recently had an dry ice performance where she put a potatoe chip inside a box full of dry ice water and etc. She then ate the chip and smoke came out of her nose. We also put a coke bottle full of dry ice and hot water into a pool of water and the whole pool exploded.

  • This guy is a complete idiot! Do not listen to him!

  • 0:03, Smokin' Poor mans' liquid nitrogen

  • My cousin let dry ice rest on his left leg for a minute and he got a water buble beneath his skin than he poped it and no blood came out just water.

  • @hydrokineticwave that's frostbite. It's basically the same as a 2nd-degree burn: large blisters full of fluid.

    See liquid nitrogen blister bit.ly / suWi1t

  • 3:02, fat toke

  • The sound he makes at 4:05 is hilarious

  • This video is pointless.

  • I hate the word hazard now. That crazy dick

  • Haha putting it in your mouth. you should audition for jackass

  • @noobfur12 quit taking comments from other people.fucking noob.

  • Your like a kid with his toys. Just saying.

  • go to 3;59

  • kilplix in 5 years 4:01

  • 4:04 LOL SO FKING FUNNY HAHHAHAHAHAH

  • nope it isnt

    it is good but careful

  • is the fog hazard

  • so whats dangerous..Putting fire in your mouth or dry ice?

  • this is an awsome video!!!! ME AND MY PARTNER ARE DOING DRY ICE THIS YEAR!!!

  • at 4:00 he is saying you have to be a trained proffesional to look like a dumbass

  • Dude, you should audition for Jackass..

  • @exweirdo Yeah, more fake "danger."

It's as safe as a fire-eating circus performance. Everybody is terrifed, but the real danger is in accidentally swallowing. Fire-eaters might burn their eyebrows off. Cryo-eaters will get many microscopic cracks all over their molars.

  • @wbeaty your videos are funny.i didnt know dry ice was harmful thanks for the info.

  • this is very iinteresting video but i am not putting dry ice in my mouth!!! i know it is dangerous but i am willing to be careful with dry ice this year

  • @angelika85731 It's dangerous but not lethal. Circus fire performers "eat fire" by spitting out mouthfuls of kerosene toward a burning torch. You could do a cryo-eater circus act. On the other hand, it's known to slowly cause buildup of tiny cracks all over your molars. (Physics teachers discovered this from their "LN2-eater" circus performance.)

  • retarded to post this vid... some genius is bound to do something lethal

  • @notadoublenagger Kids are already doing lethal things all the time. Usually it involves matches, yet people aren't terrified of matches like they are of dry ice. The fear is silly. Steak knives and lawn mowers and cigarette lighters will kill you, not dry ice.

  • @wbeaty its fun to play with but peps get awesome ideas

    youtube.com/watch?v=jpTaemMmKeo

  • dont grab dry ice... get stuck to ur hand its fucking obvious, unless the moisture around it has turned into a layer of ice. touch it and itll be painfull (dry ice is lower -109 degrees f) much like touching a burning piece of metal. inhale carbon dioxide at 10% concetration (a whole breath) ull probably pass out or maybe die. if ur dumb enough to put it in ur mouth, lets hope something gets stuck. please post video too :D

    just wiki "carbon monoxide poisoning"

  • @notadoublenagger carbon MONoxide is a toxin. Carbon DIoxide is a normal waste product of your lungs. Yes, dry ice can kill you if you breathe high concentrations for a long time, such as inside a closet, or more common, inside a sealed car with many pounds of uninsulated dry ice spewing gas out of paper shopping bags. The danger is from exploding sealed containers, and from large quantities outgassing.

  • Comment removed

  • 433 people thought they were smarter than this guy & got frost bitten.

  • dude you are my hero!

  • could you get high from inhaling it? just wondering

  • @RevengedSorrow Nope. It's the same gas in cola and all carbonated drinks. CO2 is the invisible vapor that stings your nose (try burping Pepsi with your mouth closed. Eyewatering experience!) If you try breathing it, your throat clamps shut and won't let you inhale. Same as breathing pepperspray or teargas.

  • @wbeaty Nice, thanks for the long reply with some science in it! ;)

  • 4:05 LMFAO!!!!!!!

  • i just put some in a water bottle and when it exploded it sounded like an artillary round going of no joke

  • I didnt need to watch the video to know that HELL YEAH IT IS!

  • so out of curiosity, what does dry ice taste like?

I've always wondered that, but no one I know seems to have done this-you're the first person I've seen to chew on it.

  • @Albukhshi club soda. The CO2 turns your saliva into soda water, but the dry ice itself just numbs your tongue surface and has no flavor, same as when licking popsicles from a -40F freezer.

  • @wbeaty

    oh, ok.

    thanks!

  • @wbeaty so if i eat dry ice

    no damage will be done

only the numbness of my tounge

    and will it be temporarilly??

  • I licked dry ice.

@revhuntingftw You'll get infected frostbite blisters in your mouth and throat, and need surgery.

  • @wbeaty wish u were my science teacher :O

  • You're like the crazy scientist adviser in action movies. Which superhero are you working for?

  • @xuimod "Tornado in a can" is do-able. Clothes-shrink ray, not so much.

We're having a special this month on Hypno-ray

  • My science teacher does this exact same thing in his class, he even let us suck it in and breath it out! It was so cool!!!

  • Why did u ate carbon dioxide ?

  • cross bites really hurt

  • This guy is fuckin' crazy!!!

  • and what about the carbon monoxide

  • where can you buy dry ice?!? would love it for my birthday party.

  • @MegaMoneyMaker711 local yellow pages index. Look up dry ice. Here in Seattle, Fred Meyer and QFC stores sell slabs.

  • @wbeaty what about in California?

  • @wbeaty and im 14 will they sell it to me?

  • @MegaMoneyMaker711 u can by it at any ice cream store

  • the hilarious part was when you said, " its really really dangerous" when your holding it to your eyes! 3:33

  • 4:01 amazing I was crying seen this years ago but just rewatched

  • You're a legend, that is all. Subscribed and added to favorites.

  • This guy is off the hook

  • dude all i can say is that was funny and amazing

  • 5 , 7 , 3 , 1

  • Press 5 and then 7 repeatedly

  • Lol

  • my brother and i did the coke bottle with a hole in the cap thing, thinking the whole would release any pressure making safe "smoke" but a small piece of dry ice stuck its self into the whole and we didn't notice and the bottle blew up in my brothers hand. long story short a short visit to the E.R. and two terrified parents later, i know what can happen. i would not suggest doing this.

  • @DmajikDesign Yes, if you try to squirt out the water, the bottle plugs up and explodes. Did your parents watch the video warnings? Did you and your brother have close adult supervision at all times?

These suggested demonstrations are for adult science teachers and ABSOLUTELY NOT FOR UNSUPERVISED STUDENTS. Kids will mess around and get hurt.

Adults don't need to be terrified of cars, steak knives, power tools, etc. Yet these can cause severe injury if handled incorrectly. Same with dry ice.

  • @wbeaty ohh this was long before i stumbled onto this video and no we weren't trying to squirt out water.

  • of course..."This video isn't for kids" But at the end of the video it says "Play safe, children!"

  • this guy is a legend!!

  • 2:20 def stung!

  • RETARD!!!!!

  • When I was little, I saw a dry ice demonstration. When nobody was looking, I picked a piece up, thinking it was regular ice, and put it in the boiling soapy water they had there. Later my mom told me never to touch dry ice with my bare hands, and I never understood why, because when I touched it, it wasn't even THAT cold. Of course, then I saw the dry ice on a quarter trick and that freaked me out.

  • 4:01 funniest thing ever on youtube

  • "It's really really dangerous...I uh..made these for Kids birthday parties." xD! 3:32

  • In high school i dumbly accepted a challange of testing how long i can take dry ice to naked skin, lasting around 15 seconds, my skin froze. Now i have a mark for life on my arm.

  • @crissthian that's how you get rid of warts and skin cancer.

Human branding! Dry ice hurts less than red hot metal.

    youtu.be / aEDhp7Xl5Ew

  • @crissthian

That's also how you *remove* marks. Remove warts, moles, etc. Gives you a cryo-burn and a huge frostbite blister, then the skin heals again. Liquid nitrogen in the doctor's office works better though.

  • With the Pop Bottle of Dry Ice and water would the "Steam" coming out be able to put out small fires?

  • @AlphaSketchy Yes, especially because if you turn it sideways, it launches a water jet. But it's not very safe, since the hole could get plugged.

  • I loved when he started eating the dry ice XD

  • LOL I CANT BELIEVE YOU CHEWED THAT SHIT:D LMAO

  • Dumbass

  • You're cool!

  • You legend xD

  • ur awesome

  • TOO BQAD IM A KID

  • lol he chewed the dry ice

  • Is it possible to BUY dry ice anywhere?

  • @Alice1326 Yellow pages.

    Fred Meyer

    QFC, seafood counter

    Many welders gas stores

  • @wbeaty You could also buy some from the paleteros who go around selling ice cream

  • @Alice1326 u can buy dry ice from frys marketplace! lol or walmart x)

  • oh shit u really dare to do that xO

  • do u own gloves????? lol

  • @rt8269 Don't fear the dry ice. It is your friend!

    :)

Don't need gloves and goggles when frying an egg, unless you're a kid.

Don't need gloves and goggles for dry ice, unless you're carrying large slabs around.

    Or unless you're a kid.

  • u r crazy dogg. i wuldnt trust u around my family. u a crackpot madazz sientest

  • @jjizabeast1 You didnt pay attention in school did u #? spelling , dont judge a book by its cover u "madazz sientest"

  • @themistermistermisti i get judjed by my cover every day cause im black. why should i not judge? and il spell how i wanna spell.

  • A few questions;

if letting dry ice on room temperature how long would it take to melt?

when melted does it go back to liquid?

do you know how cold is it?

  • dude how do u make your head so shiny ?

  • You're awesome sir, Just awesome.

  • people who say dry ice is safe to put your face in there IT IS NOT DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT PUTTING YOU FACE IN DRY ICE people over 14 years old can have dry ice it will break your face

  • This guys a loon

  • @bensito10 No, it's just that everyone is terrified of dry ice, yet the stuff isn't actually dangerous.

What if adults were afraid of scissors with pointy ends? After all, schoolteachers stress the fact that you can only use scissors with round ends, and pointy-end scissors are very dangerous. But this all applies to kindergarten.

That's what happened with dry ice. It's very dangerous for little kids, and now adults think it's lethally dangerous. (Yeah, "dangerous" like a steak knife.)

  • You remind me of the mechanic that said he knew what he was doing as he smoked next to his oil pits gas cans and other flammable goodies found in and around his shop. If you asked him if it was unsafe or tried to change his mind he only said "I have been doing it for years and nothing has happened." (Pst his place burned down just a heads up) Its not always what you can do and get away with once or twice or even for years. Its whats SAFE.

  • @sandboy75 So now dry ice is as dangerous as gasoline? Dishonest.

    Yet another fearmonger.

Dry ice is just about as safe as hobby knives and soldering irons. Handling dry ice is like frying an egg on the stove: not for little kids, and it's possible to hurt yourself. Exploding sealed contaners are a real danger. But adults shouldn't fear it. It's like mouthwash: be careful not to swallow any. And that's why the stuff is sold in supermarkets ...but they won't sell it to children.

  • i work with dry ice at work for theater productions and im 14...i screamed in terror the whole video and doesnt change how scared i am of the dry ice

  • Ha ha this guy is nutty ..

  • the secret is to be chuck's cousin.

  • where do u buy dry ice near perries ca ?

  • its illegal? LOL

u can buy it in estonia for like few $ per kg and at any age

  • saying that it isnt for kids makes the kids want to watch it even more!

  • Is dry ice illegal in West Virginia?

  • @XxClipsandCrapxX Ah, that's merely unwise then. :)

There is a news story where two school kids ate some dry ice on a dare. They swallowed it, not just chewed.

  • I bought dry ice as dry ice. clearly labeled "dry ice" . I know its not frickin normal ice. Its -110 degrees, i know its dangerous. I have had it in my hand. You try it and tell me it burns. It you have at least 2 seconds until you even feel that it hurts.

  • @vedsaansrey lol u think its normal ice... dry ice is biting u in ½ second so stop bullshiting

  • @wbeaty By the Way we love your videos. Keep up the good work. Thanks again.

  • When I was growing up I was always told how dangerous it was and blah blah.. I even used to think that if you touched it you would get frostbitten instantly. I am glad i watched your video.

  • Press 9 "best part" XD

  • LOL

  • lol 4:02

  • LOL 4:02

  • 4:00 best part ever!!!

  • Hhhhhhh good thanks

  • I'll use that as my new plane engine.

  • i like how ur just like its not THAT dangerous

  • im a kid

  • wow man, u are a true saint.

    God bless you.

  • there is a construct you can make with dry ice that blows large smoke rings, its like a box with a rubber back and a hole in the front. put the ice inside with some warm water then bump the rubber back and smoke-ring

  • oh you do, ok.

  • Don't touch it

  • what If we're kids.. we want to learn

  • BEST DRY ICE VID I HAVE EVER SEEN! You helped alot as for im ordering 5kg's of dry ice and the little asian woman on the phone barley new what the hazards of dry ice were other than ' cold '

  • he looked like the cookie monster eating a whole grain than spitting it out cus its healthy thank for the info thumbs up and sub!!!

  • HA HA HA HA HA HA *cough* *cough*

  • I LAUGHED WHEN HE TRY TO MAKE THE SMOKE OF THE DRY ICE AS CIGARETTE!! WAhaHHAA!!

  • These laid off elementary school teachers need a JOB!

  • 4:02 is truly a masterpiece. I haven't laughed so good these days.

  • holy fuck at 4:02

  • 4:01 :'D best part EVER! :D

  • @almontmarine not even kitchen knives?

  • that's milky ;)

  • What did the dry ice taste like?

And how fast does it melt?

  • @saj12100 dry ice does not really melt it change from solid to gas maybe u could see those water but its oni the water droplet

  • i would pay a crackhead to eat some dry ice

  • @wbeaty I am bot a kid I was joking

  • i dont want to sound mean or what every why dont you just wear gloves for you and to set an example for others who might do this

  • @SpongygurlPGS I don't wear gloves when cooking on a stove.

Handling dry ice is the same danger as frying an egg. (Actually, dry ice is less dangerous. A pan full of hot grease and eggs could kill you.)

When cooking, little kids must wear heavy clothing, gloves, goggles, face shield, and have very close supervision.

That, or forbid little kids from using the stove, and forbid them from messing with dry ice.

  • @wbeaty yes but do you cook the egg with your bare hands

  • @SpongygurlPGS YOU SOUND MEAN!

  • @The4thbassguy um, no i talked to him it's ok, calm down with the caps lock

  • i'm 13, am i a kid? lol i prefer liquid n2 demos though but this is quite gd.

  • @Almontmarine do your parents let you light candles, cook using a stove, handle razor knives? If so, dry ice and alcohol is about the same hazard as those.

  • @wbeaty yup. oh and our country no knives r allowed.

  • @wbeaty my fav part is 4:01

  • 4:02 to 4:06 make me #LOL

  • ... yea um this might not be that hazardous... ok ima get out my swiss army knife... O.o reallyy.. bitch really..

  • I am a kid

  • @1amLtg NO SWISS ARMY KNIFE FOR YOU! Only scissors with round ends. :)

  • hahaha watch when he puts the dry ice in his mouth wtf!!!

  • Hey my dad wants to use this to keep food and drinks cold is that alright?

  • stupid nigga ! only white ppl like yal do that shit .

  • KIDS try this at home NOT DANGER

  • @MrLennyme1 no LETHAL danger. If kids mess with this they'll get hurt, maybe end up in the hospital. Same as with pocket knives and soldering irons. But probably it won't kill you.

Now a candle, or a pan full of hot grease, THOSE can kill you.

  • @wbeaty i have many pocket knives, and i use a soldering iron all the time, im 12

  • i have trouble chewing normal ice lol

  • @davidevgen This is actually much more brittle than water ice.

  • I like this, it's pretty cool.

  • even with security it doesnt matter the idiots who tries this themselves doesnt care anyway, like fireworks...

  • if you watch stuff where it says dont try this, and you do your failing

mythbusters and the microwave show is here on yt as well... jeez he does give a warning. what else do you want people to do?

  • I hate when it tickles in meh nose.
