@LHD4life Eh, As far as the cinematic go, the Space Marines and their War Gear isn't really all that Accurately represented. Their power armor is supposed to be, and IS if you play the tabletop, some of the strongest in the galaxy. But, One last heroic Hurrah is more dramatic and what not than a Squad of Space Marines Mowing down everyone like they -should- be able to.

No matter what class you play, you gotta give props to the Imperium of Man. They know how to get the job done and get it done right. To bad humans are portrayed as the lesser power in the DoW series, always getting PWNED by something else. They do seem to /fail in realizing that the Emperor is a Tyrant as much as anyone elses leaders. I guess he is a lesser of two evils.

he was horus one of the emperors 20 sons, the primarchs, each one who had a space marine legion made from his genetic material. Horus and about half the of the other primarchs turned fagainst the emperor (how we got chaos marines) and attacked the imperium from within in a huge civil war. in the final battle the emperor defeated horus but was mortally wounded in the process, which is why he is in the golden throne, its his life support machine. hope i've been of help

They definitely should. A short story in the new book, "Heroes of the Space Marines" describes a Deathwatch Kill Team taking on large numbers of orks in a space hulk.

The orks in the beginning battle are carrying simple axes... despite their strength it is unlikely to penetrate the power armor.

Awesome line of fire from the Dreadnought though.

if you read book on space marines. you would know they dont shoot that much, unless its really close. they specialize in combat above all. hince why there guns are 4 round burst or rapid fire, they can go single but i have only ever seen that in one book. out of almost every single space marine book

theres actually more than one type of ammo for the bolter,there the normal ammo type you usually see,kraken bolts have a admantine core and improved propellent long range,vengeance rounds have an unstable flux core made for breaching power armour,hellfire rounds where made to combat tyranids and have a bio-acid that eats through flesh and chitin and the exploding rounds you see in fire warrior and other places are the dragonfire bolts!!i got this from white dwarf!!
