i don't have the foggiest idea, all's i know is that they are used in hospitals, etc., i have see one in the hospital here in Red Wing, MN, its bowl outlet was the same as this one, only it had a water surface in the bowl, like the toilets here in the U.S., its flushing action, was simalar to this, but it was powerful, and instead of filling up and useing siphonic action, it had no siphonic action, and went strait down really fast, continued to next comment

and has a bigger bowl wash, its called blowout, it is also used in urinals, toilets, and service sinks, and is found on toilets and urinals mostly in stadiums here in the U.S., and the service sink i saw at the hospital was made by american standard, along with all the toilets
