I like how they show "Flip 3D" as this cool new feature... it's not half as useful as OS X's "Exposé". It's really just a glorified Alt-Tab (Which we have on Mac as Cmd-Tab, and a "just-this-application's-windo­ws" version, Cmd-`)

i have a windows vista and have had it for 5 months. there has been nothing wrong with it and i acctually think it is better than my last xp. i agree with edward1215 because almost everything that first comes out has speedbumps so stop calling it crap and just dont spend your money on it if you dont want it. if you do i can say it is worth your money.

Vista isn't ready now. I understand that some ppl had problems with it but so far i have problems free with my computer. I knew whats going to happen when i installed vista, so far i have some programs that i had on xp and they still work. Some drivers i had to install them manually. If anything goes wrong with my computer i still have xp installed by dual boot. So yeah wait for 6 months until vista gets better or get it when SP1 comes out i read there will be some major updates.

Ok first if you dont have Windows Vista you don't even know what vista is like so don't say it's crap unless you have it. I have Windows Vista Home Premium and just love it and my upgrade wasnt that bad i mean sure on speed bump in the operation but im a computer pro and knew wat to do. Bull. I've seen and used OS X. I've seen and used Linux. Vista seems to have borrowed more from the latter. In terms of cosmetic appearance, the two look utterly dissimilar.

Oh, Apple hijacked openbsd-DOT-org and added a few bits and pieces to it. Of course, they also took the Xerox GUI and mouse in the first place... (in short, these comparisons are always stupid. Both companies do the same thing... which includes buying each others' stock.)

Wow, somebody doesn't know how to connect RCA cables to their camcorder. Wow, the quality of a video-taped monitor. Wow, some people shouldn't be allowed on the internets. Wow, I'm glad Vista includes new video editing software so people can tape their TV with their cell phones, hack it into a crappy encoding, and then post it on YouTube to turn into an even crappier encoding so that we can all get some kind of feeling for what this ad may have possibly looked like.

No, it's not a joke. Macs do have viruses.

Microsoft did not steal from OSX. It's the other way around. OSX was released in 2002. Longhorn was started in 2001. Apple stole features and ideas from Longhorn releases and implemented them faster; Spotlight was taken directly from Longhorn. Longhorn had transparency first. Longhorn had large, high quality icons first.

- They released fraudulent test results showing that their Intel Macs are more powerful than any commercially available PC. Real, legitimate test results show that the cheapest, slowest Dell laptop is faster than the high-end Intel Macs.
