The Marine Corps come in as the second lowest in branch attrition per capita, second only to the AIR FORCE. Whereas the Army comes in second highest. Take all of these though, and none of them compare to the US Army Ranger school's attrition rate of 66% (this includes the numbers of Marine MARSOC and Recon that attends the school)...

The Marine Corps come in as the second lowest in branch attrition per capita, second only to the AIR FORCE. Whereas the Army comes in second highest. Take all of these though, and none of them compare to the US Army Ranger school's attrition rate of 66% (this includes the numbers of Marine MARSOC and Recon that attends the school)...

The US Infantry are referred to as the Queen of Battle because of their deploy-ability and maneuverability. The Field Artillery are referred to as the King of Battle because, while not as mobile, are a key factor on the battlefield. Fyi: Training time doesn't = training quality. Just sayin.
