Because it means "pale red" at least with word-by-word translation :) Pink in Hungarian is "rózsaszín" which means (literally, again): "rose-colour".

Finnish is really different from the other Scandinavian languages.

yea because finnish is not from germanic language family it is from finougric family..it looks more like estonian

Mmm no Fino-Ugric languages includes Finnish, Estonian and Hungarian. Estonian is the only language related to Finnish. The Baltic family doesn't include Estonian, in the baltic languages there are Latvian and Lithuanian.
