I am not contesting his ethnic affiliation at all. It matters very little to me in the light of ideas he spoke of.
His ethnicity obviously matters to you a lot. You have all your rights to be proud of him and belonging to the same ethnicity with him. However, you cannot be entitled to the same kind of respect and appreciation simply by associating yourself with him on ethnic grounds.

it is impossible to understand Rumi`s poems when they are translated! he wrote in Persian and he didn't use even one turkish word in entire of his poems! you are simply illiterate my brother!
