Var är nore Ingmanns? Brukade dansa till dem 1963-64 när jag jobbade på Koppoms pappersfabrik - de var stora som alla andra band i Arvika på den tiden.
This song was originally published on EMI Odeon in 1961 on the EP Ji Coo and the Vikings and it found it's way into Radio Luxemburg's Top Twenty chart. The info that it was first released in 1990 is uncorrect, and I wish I knew where that story comes from.
Furthermore the band was originally called only Ji Coo's Rockband but was renamed for the European market when the record was cut. Shortly after the release the group was divided into Ji Coo's, and ,The Vikings.
old cars, classy ladies and rock N roll... right up my alley.

@CountryCarlson More:
The Vikings in 1973 became Víkingarna (The Vikings in Swedish) Sweden's most popular band in the bace genre.
Ji Coo's founder Jens Carlson is still going strong and at the age of 76 he tours Sweden with his band doing about 90 danceshows every year.
How do I know? I'm his son. :-)

@CountryCarlson "bace genre"??? Must have been drunk, "dance genre", of course! ;-)

And by the way, Gunnar Olsson was a fantastic guitar player.

I'm sorry Chris,I must have nodded for a second.
On the other hand, when you get my age it's a wonder that you don't do more misstakes, haa haa.
What's wrong with his knee's? I thought he was a master at Boppin' and Twistin'!

As long as you don't take me for Angel , it's allright.
Think Jim is at the Champagne, to celebrate his last crash with WMG...
