  • The disparity of separation & unity.

  • heavy sigh....what else

  • Freakin' GENIUS!! Nuff said!!

  • This song reminds me of Lisa, my first (in a series) true love. I met her in high school when I was a junior and she was a freshman. She read about French kissing in Cosmo and decided to try it out on lucky ol' me! It's amazing the memories songs can fuel.

  • What a great song writer! Todd could belt em out like the best of them in the 70's

  • GREAT SONG..... I dedicate this to Lawrence K (won't say his last name online) He has shown me how much he REALLY cares..... oh, but it's HIS loss :)

  • Too bad... for those of you that were'nt around in the 70's.This literally was an epic time for music. Today's stuff I wouldn' even call music.EPIC ...is just slang nowaday!!

  • @SuperNick090 I TOTALLY AGREE!!!

  • This song is epic like "That 70's Show".

  • Todd Rundgren knew when his life changed enough with fame to begin producing rather than continue to song write. Good move and a great musician and human being. Love the fly-tying turkey feathers on his eyebrows. David Bowie's inspiration.

  • rest in peace, Moogy. what a good song :)

  • @samsmumable Who is MOOGY?

  • @Getrealpeeps Mark 'Moogy' Klingman was the one of the keyboard/synth players in the original version of Todd' s group Utopia, and was a long standing musical collaborator. They met when they were about 18-19. Moogy died in November after a battle with cancer.

  • @samsmumable --and Moogy played keyboards on this song too,

  • Love the "everybody fxxxs up" at the beginning

  • This song brings happy thoughts.

  • Masterpiece!!..BOLD & MESMERIZING.!!

  • R.I.P that 70's show,

  • Heard this song in 1968 when todd was with a goup called Nazz. Was a great song then. I usually do not like covers or remakes of a song but this version from Something/Anything? is so much better. Great song.

  • whurz the entire 'conversing' segment of all the musicians of this song? I miss the lady saying, "I think I'm falling in love with the singer"

  • @donlw1 Try listening to "You Left Me Sore", same album. I'd link it, but there's a glitch right now.

  • @ronshirt - It's not a glitch, just YouTube's nannystate-worthy heavy-handed methodology for preventing spam. Which is nowhere even NEAR effective, by the way...

  • @donlw1 - Later, between "Some Folks" and "You Left Me Sore".

  • There is a beautiful place in my mind: a hiding place, full of the rich texture, color, emotion and wonder of ephemeral youth....a comfortable hopeful sunny place.

    This song takes me there.

  • @oThereUAre I know exactly what you're saying!

  • I just love this song so much. It made me so happy when I heard it on That 70's Show. :)

  • High school in the70's! What a wonderful time. Wish I could go back.

  • @cannine57 Wouldn't it be great to go back and know what we know now?

  • @roadtec3 I see your checkin' out all the good ol' shit as well. So glad I'm old enuf to have grownup in the most excellent of days. Peace

  • @roadtec3 Yes it would. Even though now we are so much wiser then back then, I think we lost something along the way. In high school I never felt more alive and free then at any other time in my life.

  • Greatest song Ever made

  • Yes..I . Love this song !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 100th liker(y)

  • Sweet Song!

  • @muppy1100

  • lotta memories

    take care

  • I had just returned from Japan in the Army. I really liked it. It reminds me of those days in Fort Polk, LA.

This guy is a master at music.

  • I had just returned from Japan in the Army. I really liked it. It reminds me of those days in Fort Polk, LA.

  • timeless classic, he played most of the instruments himself

  • It takes over the radio when it comes on , nothing can follow it and keep up to it's greatness

  • THE GREATEST TODD SONG EVER...?? QUITE POSSIBLY.... ( I SAW THE LIGHT ) !!!

  • excellent song!!! I was 10 years old when I heard it for the first time.....!!!

  • A true classic. You can go home for a little while. This song is proof of that.

  • So so true, I was a teen in the mid 70's and this song means a lot to me, I heard it in "That 70's show" and it really took me back.

  • I know for alot of people who were alive when this song came out it means something different to each of them, but for me (someone born in the early 90's) this song will always remind me of "That 70's Show" one of the greatest shows (in my opinion) that was around.

  • @MagicalWellecto92

I'm with you there. When I saw the Pilot ep, along with the credits for that ep and the final ep's credits, I can't help but lookin back on those as some of the greatest times of my life.

    That 70s Show for life.

  • You re right! Having the the first part of this (1,2,3) is PRICELESS

  • This is always been my Fave 1970's T.R. Song! A Classic by the Old School Pennsylvanian! HOOAH!!

  • nice tune, but LOL @ 4:36

  • Hey, great song but I don't see the lyrics you promised.
