I asked my mom if she liked this song because I'd like it to be played at my wedding. She replied, "No it's too sad of a song for a wedding." :O Is it just me or is this song very happy and cheerful and perfect to walk down an aisle to your future significant other?
@LilGrey456 this song is not too sad. this song is too emotional. your mom, meant that no music would replace that feeling you mentioned. of course, this piece witholds whole world, but you dont need that world at your wedding. youd already have it x). play that mendelshoon. Dam dam dadaam xD
@LilGrey456 DO NOT CONTAMINATE THIS DIVINE/HEAVENLY MUSIC WITH A HELLISH WEDDING! (No offense but this is far to sacred for any thing even remotely close to a wedding. However I wish nothing but the best for your marriage who ever you are...) Please don't kill Mozart with a wedding.
@LilGrey456 The same thing my mom said to me when I played Mozart on my stereo. I don't understand how anyone on earth could consider this type of music sad.
the bit that starts at 1:00 is possibly the most beautiful tune and most beautiful piece of orchestration i have ever heard, mozart took the flute and the harp and conjured perfection out of them
@speedy3702 i read that it's not that he disliked the flute or the harp, but that the reason he composed very fiew pieces for those instruments is that there weren't any good flute or harp interprets at the time
you can hear Mozart's pieces for years thousand of times over and over and NEVER get bored for a second. you get excited every second. true genius and beyond.
does anyone know the title of the last mozart piece that is playing in amadeus when salieri is reading the samples of mozart's work that mozart's wife brought to him? its the piece thats playing with a woman singing while salieri drops the compositions on the floor because he is overwhelmed by the beauty of the music
@NaturalBornHedonist I can't say the same because I DO believe in God. However, I have to agree with you that every time I listen to something like this, I have no option but to believe, or reinforce my believe that there is something really powerful and beautiful in the universe, and it manifests itself through music like this, or people like Mozart.
@NaturalBornHedonist Dear friend, I should hope that your continuous listening to pieces like these will inspire you to believe in the Divine and contemplate further and farther.
These are originals?... It was astounding, it was actually beyond belief. These were first and only drafts of music; they showed no corrections of any kind, not one. He had simply written down music, already finished, in his head, page after page of it, as if he were taking dictation. And music, finished as no music is ever finished. Displace one note and there would be diminishment, misplace one phrase and the structure would fall....
Man I cant stop listening to this dude! Or researching him, or watching the movie...Dam I sound like a groupie. I discovered Mozart a couple days after the super bowl & its pretty much nothing but since. Oh yeah, I cant stop listening to this song either!
so well said...there are several other great musical composers i resonate so, especially from the Baroque area, but there is no equal to Mozart, with Bach being his only possible competitor

@tkerstin The irony is that Mozart apparently didn't liked the flute instrument, but still was able to create masterpieces with it.

resulta curioso como gente desprestigia a mozart , que deben escuchar ellos por sus oidos ?
es innegable la calidad de sus melodias, por no nombrar todo lo demas, pero la belleza y elegancia son indudables
