  • When I listen to this the only thing I can feel is peace and a bit sad...

  • This music...

  • This song sounds exactly like: Strobe - deadmau5

  • @aligager

    Freakin' genius man... Freakin' genius...

  • this sounds alot like the gate of time music with other random themes thrown in....

  • this song makes me cry everytime reminding me of how much girls rejected me when I asked them out......................forever alone

  • @AzianNoob14 hahaha! Dont worry you will find your zelda :)

  • This song makes me feel vulnerable.

  • This song is one of those songs that make you so emotional.... they make you think how the games, the characters, how EVERYTHING has evolved since Zelda really started... this is just.. amazing. there really no other words to describe it

  • Ahh, The Gate Of Time + Fi's Theme = The Goddess Sword. So beautiful. :')

  • I WISH WE COULD FLY AT NIGHTVN JDFSLADFNV

  • Link.. Why did you stay on The Surface and did not finish school

  • Theme song for the epologue of "The Inheritance Cycle".

  • @Sonally4ever That comment means a lot to me, especially since I read Inheritance and played this game at the same time. When I finished both the book and the game at the same time, my life literally felt empty, ending two long-awaited journeys at the same time...

I don't know, but your comment stood out to me, and I felt compelled to respond. Man, I love Zelda.

  • @Sonally4ever Oh man, I actually cried when I finished Inheritence. This fits so well.

  • This so makes me feel very emotional in a really great way.

  • beautiful.

  • Flying on your Loftwing at night, this music playing.

    Calm all around.

  • @Valo778 how do u fly at night?

  • @283leis u can't, but u should've been able to.

  • @283leis You can't. It would just be a nice thing

  • My most pivotal memory with this song playing in the background is when the old lady speaks to you in the sealed grounds and tells you, Link, that you have many hardships to endure, and that you have no choice BUT to endure because it is your destiny. The only thing Link can do is nod his head and accept that a significant part of his life will involve unfathomable strife and suffering. This whole song seems to just say "endure". Endure because you can. Because you have to.

  • When I hear this song it makes me want to cry how, some how in some way we are all apart of a greater destiny. That there is a little Zelda in all of us. To give us hope.

  • @JKNzeldatwilight9 I don't know why, but this comment made me so sad. =[ One of the greatest comments I've ever read! You deserve an award. xD No, but srsly, I believe that's what the zelda games are all about: hope. =]

  • I didn't realize this was so similar to "Fi's Farewell"... When I replay Skyward Sword, I'm afraid I'm going to start crying at this part. =(

  • I don't know why, I'm feeling really frustrated rught now. I liked TLOZ SS, in fact it made me cry 2 times while playing, made me laugh my ass off, made me feel anger, sadness...so much! but I just can't get a GREATER feeling than OoT gave me...does this mean I'm falling out of love with Zelda...? just thinking that mkaes me very sad...

  • @SoraXKokiri I feel the same way. No doubt SS is an incredible game with unforgettable characters, places, and story, but there's just something about OoT. It just 'clicks' better than others. There's an incredible sense of... I don't know something, everything, I can't put my finger on it but I know what you mean.

  • @Wiiluvkatz yeah I also can't think of what it could be...I mean, there isn't a LACK of something in SS, it is pretty damn good as it is...but...dunno, OoT catched my attention from the beggining without so much of an explanation...but with SS I had to go through Eldin to start really liking the game.

  • When this played at the end of the game, I wanted to cry...

  • I want the world to be like TLOZ, It's so beautiful, and peacful. It's my dream to make a world like tloz irl. When i grow up i'm so totally buying a island and going to name it Hyrule, and i will make a godess, and just like Zelda, mostly like SS (Exept it's not in the sky) :} And i hope someof you all Zelda lovers, will live there whit me :} <3

  • @MegaZelda18 HELL YEAHH IM NOT CRAZY

i will totally go when you do

  • @ok1242 my friend wrote tht... and we like promised tht we buy an Island and call it Hyrule.... TLOZ is to awesome to not exist... we are goin' to find the best Island and call it Hyrule for sure ^^

  • this song makes me feel so many things. it's probably my favorite piece in the entire skyward sword soundtrack, just because of the emotion of the music and the importance of the scene it's used in. it almost moves me to tears every time i hear it. zelda games are so beautiful and create such a vast and deep world, that somehow manages to extend out of the game and in to daily life. this piece captures that whole feeling of mystic beauty and sadness that the games hold.

  • WOW

  • :DDDDD I LUV THIS SONG AND THE BEST THING IS, IT WAS UPLOADED ON MAH BIRTHDAY XD and its zelda :D

  • I love this piece of music. Scrap that, I love all Zelda music. It just captivates you. Suddenly it's not just a game anymore. It's real.

  • I used to be FURIOUS, OUTRAGED, AND SICK WITH ANGER! But then I took an arrow in the knee. And you know how that made me feel? FURIOUS! OUTRAGED! SICK WITH ANGER!

  • @CPUgamecentral cant you see were ALL BEING SERIOUSSSS?

  • This comment will randomly get likes, just because this music is crafted in a beautiful, touching way mixed with epicness.

  • One of my favorite Zelda tracks. The turning point in the game were Link realizes failure is no option.

  • This is so warm yet so serious at the same time. Like something that would play when you have to leave your mother and go out into the real world...

  • I remember this playing when Groose tells Link that he's gonna stay at the Sealed Grounds in case The Imprisoned awakens again.

Everything he said there...I thought "Wow, he's...really matured."

  • When I heard this song in the game for the first time, I nearly broke out in tears because I could just feel Link's emotion. Especially with one of his choice of words being "It's so much..."

  • This piece really sets you a position where you realize how many peoples lives rests on your shoulders. It's melancholy and serious, almost as if the challenge that stands before you seems impossible to accomplish.

You know your duty. Failure is not an option. All your dreams, all of your friends dreams. They rest on your shoulders.

  • In the end of the game Fi has got personality, Fi is very good and it understand very good link. Sorry for my english but i'm spanish

  • why the fuck would you dislike this, i can't even

  • @kyonako1234 finish youre sentence?

  • @stiroussell it's not incomplete it's like an expression i'd say. for example when something is so funny you'd comment "i can't even"

  • @kyonako1234 The phrase is "I don't even".

  • @kyonako1234 Ghirahim disliked this because it made him feel furious, outraged, and sick with anger.

  • Love the guitar....if there is one in this song -_-'

  • @Vegetalover321 Theres a guitar? I thought it was a harp

  • This is a beautiful song of the Zelda game. I just love it

  • Fucking amazing.

  • But it wasn't a rock!

    It was a rock TABLET!

  • ┏━━━┓

    ┃┏━━┛

    ┃┗━━┳━━┳┳━━┓

    ┃┏━━┫┏┓┣┫┏━┛

    ┃┗━━┫┗┛┃┃┗━┓

    ┗━━━┫┏━┻┻━━┛

  • Music : Link's Awakening == Wind Waker == Ocarina of time == skyward sword == Link to the Past > all zelda > games.

  • they kicked ass on the music in this game this time which was surprising cuz the music was way bland in TP

  • For Aslan!!... Oh wait, wrong title.

  • Hearing this makes me wish that there would be dynamic change between day and night, so that while you where out flying your loftwing around at night, this song would play and on some nights there would be fireworks going off from Skyloft.

  • @narutofano03 Animal Crossing?

  • This game means so many different things to me. Some things simply within the zelda world, but others go much further. Those of you who also love zelda, not only as a game but as a part of life as well, know what i mean. love you link.

  • @alligager I know EXACTLY what you mean. I swear, if I hadn't played Zelda, my whole LIFE would've been different. i'm really extremely glad I got a chance to play this game and enjoy it every moment. Thanx for posting that comment :)

  • @alligager Uuh, what?

  • I <3 THE DRUMS IN THIS PIECE

(Im a boy, and i just used a heart to describe my feelings for a piece of fucking music, thats how awesome it is)

  • @pikachu6598 You named your account "pikachu", so you using a heart wasn't going to make anyone question your masculinity any more than they already have.

  • Could this stone tablet thing be a reference to the Ancient Stone Tablets game (which was basically an aLttP hack) on the Satellaview?

  • @bla287 No. I seriously hope you're joking.

  • @Fabio254 Why not? They're making references to older games in the series all the time, and Inishie no Sekiban (look it up on Zelda Wiki) was a genuine game even though it was only available in Japan and playable for a limited time.

  • @bla287 Because they aren't going to reference some obscure hack that was only available for a limited time only in Japan, especially when the song title is blatantly referencing the stone tablets in game.

  • Does anyone else notice how music can just alter ur mood so much and so fast cause I was happy until I listened to this song and now I'm sad cause it makes me think of all the sad moments in my life this song is truly amazing

  • @Imthedgrayman I believe that's the difference between good and bad music; whether or not it stirs up emotions.

  • Reminds me of the Dead Island trailer

  • YES! i was looking for this song, isn' this the song that plays when your talking to the old lady in the sealed temple! I LUV this song i also like the one when Groose decides he will stay down there, its like a sad version of Grooses theme

  • @machogrubba14 I love it too!!! I literally searched for this song for hours!

  • @thecubeman100 i know, i love this song, i actually like the skyward sword soundtrack alot! Its great!!! its peaceful and it helps create the feeling of the scenes very well

  • This isn't a continuation

  • Did anyone else get here from Tumblr?

  • @Ozzzie968 Yep...

  • @Ozzzie968 Lonely Inky? Yep.

  • @planet5421 UGH Lonely Inky is page not found!

  • I absolutely LOVE the snare in this song! It really sets this song apart. It makes the air heavy and really gives you a sense of the sadness of Gaepora and the fear and uncertainty that Link must be feeling. Music truly is an amazing thing.

  • anyone ever see "wolf's rain"?

this song sounds like the song "sleeping wolves"

almost identical now that i listen to it

  • This was when Zelda's dad talked to him after he picked the sword? There's something about this piece that sets it apart from most of the game, it has this air of curiosity and uncertainty - along with emotion. Don't get me wrong, the others are great, but this one, yeah, I love it.

  • There should really be an option after you beat the game to watch cut scenes again and listen to music tracks again.. I could spend hours listening and watching... Oh well I'll see them again in hero mode..

  • Unfair... It's not fair. How can something be so good.

  • Beautiful.

  • Comment removed

  • The Chosen One......

  • magic song!!!! :)

  • My absolute favorite. So beautiful. When it comes on in the game I just sit and let it play. It seems wrong to push 'A' and end it.

  • its like sadness and urgency at the same time in one amazing track

  • This song makes me think about a lot of things, i dont know why, probably the melody

  • I've just completed this game and after listening to the OST here on Youtube, I want to do it again xD

  • @CDbiggen HERO MODE HERE WE COME :DDDDD

  • @MykoolHD Hell yeah! I'm already back in the first temple XD

  • Who would have thought searching for Zelda would be this emotional and epic~ *tearz*

  • And the legend begins...

  • This is most definitely my favorite piece. It seems nostalgic, however I've never listened to it... It almost makes me wanna cry.

  • @Tekeii I love minecraft and all, but it doesn't deserve to be mentioned anywhere else than it's videos, and it's forums.

  • ......

  • This is sad yet heroic at the same time. Fitting music for when Link learns of the huge burdern he has.....):

  • @xGummiBearsx in my opinion he has the biggest burden out of all the links :|

  • This one could also be in Okami.

  • It's not like Nintendo to make a soundtrack this emotional

    well done

  • Honestly one of the most incredible zelda tracks

  • Is there a version with more than one flute part? D: The flute part is so beautiful! Q_Q

  • @Nelhime Yes. The song is called 'Follow Fi'.

  • After listening to this, I knew that I had to buy the soundtrack. If only I knew where.

  • @scipioninja I don't know if you bought the game already or not, but I noticed that if you go on amazon, they sell the game with the soundtrack as a combo :3

  • @TheRealMaryAngelina Thta's unfortunately not the soundtrack from the game but a kind of collection of orchestrated songs... I haven't heard it yet, but I read the song list and it's just 9 songs or so and maybe one of them is from Skyward Sword>.<

  • @TheRealMaryAngelina

Oh, I have (got the Limited edition as a birthday gift). It's from the orchestra, not the soundtrack itself which is a bummer, but still pretty cool.

  • Has a Twilight Princess-Minecraft feel to it. :D

  • @Tekeii I was thinking the same thing to myself in study hall today

  • Soo good! My favorite! The two scenes in the game this was used in worked so perfectly!

It foreshadows the journey ahead and the work that Link needs to do, and the importance of his duty

with the Heroic marching drums in the background mixed with the sad slow music in the background

    AWESOME!

  • reminds me of a Prince of Persia song this is awesome

  • I love this one!

  • Sounds like something Explosions in the Sky would produce.

    Nintendo have nailed this soundtrack

  • @murdoch2486 ohmahgah yes
