  • That way from Rovaniemi to the Ounasvaara, weve done it several times in winter when weve been there, up and down to the town, and we done it always by foot, walking. For us it was so cool, but i supose to people who live there is not that nice because most dont like the cold. But we like it very much. And It is always nice to remember the awesome winter holydays up there : )

  • i like..i like from Sicily by Maurizio

  • So thats how it looks like without snow...its all so green, very beautifull landscape. Ive been last week there, in Rovaniemi, in the Ounasvaara. I love snow covered forests in the Artic North, wich is very rare here in the South. Here in South Europe where i live we have long days with excruciating horrible hot weather (+30º) in summer and short boring mild days with no snow in winter, except for the mountains. I really enjoyed to be in Rovaniemi and i really loved to travell in Finland. :)

  • @lvsitiwdr Portugal is truly warm. Rovaniemi's summer feels like it tries to get summer-like, but there is a sort of cold breeze, as if there were ice somewhere near. The summer is also 2 months shorter than in Helsinki. You can find snow-topped branches and snow covered forest in Helsinki right now and during some Januaries. I don't living there and I'd just want to move to 20 latitudes where living is biologically feasible.

  • I'm not playing. I take full responsibility of my videos, in person. Consequently, I expect you to do the same, so make a non-anonymous video response. Do not send me personal messages.
