WOW, I mean in my culture we sacrifice animals to but we end it quickly. In traditional sacrifice we usually tie a bull to a tree and then hit it with a sled hammer. We tend to end it quickly and the animal doesn't suffer. In seeing this it has me blown away of how the animals are killed. I live in the U.S and I know tradition is tradition but we find other non-cruel way to do killing. Thanks for sharing though.

these people are all christian, and they go to church every week (more diligent than most people elsewhere around the world) and culture is a major factor of their daily lives. these people sacrifice buffaloes similar to the way egyptians put gold/treasure with their deceased. they believe it will bring them fortune in the afterlife. i think that they respect these buffaloes (it was already mentioned that they buy a new buffalo over a new car). they raise that buffalo as one of their own
