@ImmortalSynn I'm glad, it's always so scary going down with a horse. I usually worry about the horse before myself. Luckily they're all good in the video =]
If that were true, then you wouldn't be asking ~me~ to use some of this stuff.
Stay away from it. If I see any under your name, I'll be the first to inform the producer so they can have YouTube/Google shut down your account. I warned you, they're nothing nice.
That POOR horse @ 1:01 !!!! Talk about getting leftt behind, hit in the mouth, and then terrorized by having his mouth hauled on while he went through the fence. These are all clips of riders in the UK, huh? Thank god Americans don't do this. Good video.
@jumpergurl4190 if you think you could take that...without getting left behind...you should write a book. My question, was how the fuck, did he stay on! That was a fantastic piece of riding! I'm all for the "99.9% of the time its the rider" but on this occasion! He gave his horse a perfect stride, if the horse had taken that one last stride that there was blatantly room for they would have gotten over, but for some reason he/she decided to take off a stride early. Kudos to that rider!
Gosh I love your videos ^^ Where the heck do you even get these clips? The comment in the last vid made me fall of my chair xD Yea, he wouldn't be proud for that xD
@ponyking1 Agreed...that guy is a psycho and has no business on a horse's back. Did you see how poorly he handled his horse when it was bolting after it broke through the guard ropes? I feel bad for that animal.
thats fuuny, at hte end the guy in the red picks his nose. lol. i think its kinda funny when the horse go to jump the big collapsible walls and their like run run run oh no! big wall! stop
I agree with ImmortalSynn on the reins comment. Keeping hold of the reins can often pull the horse down with you, put you in the path of the horse, etc. It's best to LET GO.
I think it's insane that some people are so concerned with keeping their reins... have seen a few essentially "forget" to attempt to break their fall, or worse, even struggle against reflex.
Not that serious: someone will (eventually, LOL) catch the horse, it ain't worth breaking a neck over.
Who is the horse at 1:32, with the dark spot in the white blaze, and a couple of stockings? It looks so much like a horse I used to take care of, who was an old ex-Grand Prix jumper turned eq horse. They showed him as 'Sailaway' and I was told that Hap Hansen used to ride him.
1:01, everyone is talking about it. Its hella scary oO Shilly rider asked for a too long stride but there must be alot of trust there for the horse to even attempt it! He got his revenge anyway "I'ma destroy everything in my path now, GODZILLAPONY!"
2:01 - no your mother would certainly NOT be proud of you for that! Your gonna go home and your daddy's gonna be you with a belt for picking your nose on tv XD
lol if you like that stuff you should watch the Atco Double Slalom... it's where a lot of kids fresh off the hunter/jumper circuit try a hand at grand prix level fences but the interesting thing is that it's normally the 14-15y/os who are winning against the big names.
I absuolutly love the last pitcher! :)

oh lord, 1:40 I would not be surprised if the poor horse broke his neck =[
Bewarethedare 10 months ago
@Bewarethedare
Nope. All horses in these clips walked away under their own power, and competed in at least one more show thereafter. No broken necks here.

No. If you don't have permission from MBP/Equestrian Vision, they will be VERY quick to take down anything from this that you put up.

@jumpergurl4190 You do not need to be a rider in the UK to make a mistake. Please don't sound so arrogant.

Props to the riders who came off and kept hold of their reins, but I hate seeing horses fall after being pushed into badly timed/rushed jumps...
