Hey man I have the real cartridge for the game but I'm wondering how you got this to run on No$GBA?

I have version 2.5 and every time I boot the rom up it just crashes or says it can't read the file.

What did you have to do to get it working? I just want to be able to play this on my TV like a real Contra game should be played.

no,you can't run card via emulator.crash...maybe you rom downloaded isn't correct?redownload it. and latest no$gba version is 2.6.

What are you talking about? Apart from import stores holding other regional versions, Contra 4 is not released in Europe yet.

Seriously, what the fuck? Of all the millions who pirate countless games, movies, docs, images, you think telling him will make a world of a difference? Expecting them to make even MORE great games is a little late now for this game.

I'm not looking to change the world and end piracy. Telling fantasynoff is obviously not going to do that. However, it'd be really great of Contra 4 sold a lot of copies. Perhaps if this game sells really well, there could be more in the pipeline for the Contra series. Just a thought. Thanks for your reply.

When I load it up with 2.5 it's VERY SLOW and it has no music and the only sound comes from the gun and even that's not the right sound it should be producing.

why?US rom is good for emulate,don't try that EU rom :)

Because when I click "Game Sharing" on Game Menu it's info - "You are sharing the Contra Demo". :( And one more question :P what kind of emulator you used? My it's No$gba-w2.5b, but I'm not sure that it's good. Greetings :)

that europe rom is prototype-version,us rom is retail version.nds emulator...I think no$gba is the best one in this time.but these emulators not good at emulate 3D-Sense,so that some levels looks not very nice.

rom is still right if you download correctly...only the problem is the NDS Emulator...but I not get a copy of WinVista,XP is enough.

Hey papalolita can you play the contra 4 ROM without lag in some places? The waterfall, harbor, ocean and city show some major lag thats makes teh stages....kind of hard to beat(not to mention frikkin annoyng). do you know any way of avoiding the lag?

3D sense is slower than others,but i think it's not a big problem

I can't get Contra 4 ROM to work on No$GBA v2.5. Other games such as Castlevania work fine. "Error in EEPROM initialization".

Never mind that. Set EEPROM to 0.5kb and it's okay.
