    Ah, you don't because you can't ?

Then slowely and humbly fuck off.

  • Ahhhhhh..... That sweet grestch sound !!

  • We're all pretty lame compared to Danny Gatton (makes this fellow sound like he's crippled).

  • Oh - oh. Why so frustrated ?

    Can't get laid ?

    Dick's too short ?

    hahahaha

  • love this!!!!!!

  • Dobra šulja :)

  • Unbelievable! Thanks for that... now I feel I can't play worth a crap.

  • Nah, don't say that. It ain't brain surgery. hahaha

  • Howdy from the Gretsch forums!!! Love the vid.. even though I have an Annie, I wish I had your chops.. great stuff!! thanks for posting!!

  • this is super coooool. i think that's what Gretsch made a Hot Rod to sound like. i love rockabilly AND psychobilly and enjoy trying to get my Gretsch to do something similar.... guitarists like you are very inspiring and it's brilliant that you post your stuff up here for all to see... thanks heaps from australia... oh.. also, are you using any effect pedals at all?????

    cheers

  • brilliant ... i love metal but this is awesome =O godlike guitarplaying

  • YOU, yes, YOU are mostly welcome! Because that's what I 'm tryin' to accomplish with my music , to interest people from the 'hard - hittin' ' side of the musical genre. All that retro Rockabilly stuff is fine with me, but actually leading nowhere to, if they keep repeatin' the same old same old over and over again.

  • i love this guitar

  • I love pus...., er... I LOVE IT. TOO ! hahaha

  • where did u get that shirt?! i want it.

  • me too!!

  • Bought it at a local store for C & W clothing. Since it's manufactured in the US, I 'm sure you can get it there as well.

( Besides, the other one I own has been worn by Ricki Rachtman on MTV's Charm School. Ughhh.... not cool...

  • Hi from the UK. I got into the whole Gretsch sound recently when I bought a G5120 but love the look/sound of these Hot Rods. What can I say except - RESPECT TO YOU. You are a brilliant guitarist man

Top lad. All he needs is a Bill Black, a DJ Fontana and an Elvis. Rock on mate.

  • TOP comment

Am currently uploading new clips !!!

  • Hey beelzebilly, like your style my friend. You just do your thing. Great tone by the way!

  • Well... I 'm tryin'... NEW clips are on !!

  • Damn, even with when people say that "quality is lacking", that is still some GREAT playing!

  • New clips are on !! Thanks !!

  • i don't like very much...sorry!

  • You don't have to...

  • Slow down! You can play fast, but the quality is lacking to be sure. You can interject alot of solos in but the rhythm is lacking. Look for Sammy Masters track 'Some Like It Hot' and then youll see what the difference is. Nice guitars though! Hope you arent offended by my comments.

  • Nah, don't worry. Everything's just fine. I don't pay any attention to what people say, anyway. hahaha

  • dude, dont rip on this guy. this whole thing was improvised, and look at that shirt.!!! kick ass dude, i dig the lick at 1:13 congrats on the cool gear, licks, and shirt.

  • Cliff Gallup and Franny Beecher both improvised, and their style of playing was top notch. If he slowed down a bit, it would sound decent. And theres a difference between 'ripping' and positively criticizing someones style. Im not saying he cant play guitar, because he can, but lots of dudes in guitar center can do that too. His playing just isnt very interesting or tight. In the end, he isnt teaching anybody how to play what he can, so its really just showing off online I guess. Ho hum.

  • AARRRGH !! Another smartass who's got absolutely nothing to put up against !!

    haha

But check out my new clips !!

  • Thanks for defending me ! NEW clips are on !!

  • Man...you are really good. Five stars all the way!

  • Thank you so much.... what can I say ?

  • Thank you !!!

  • Fuckin' good playin' and your hair's cool too! :D I just started to wear it like that not long ago but liked rockabilly for years and my greatest parties were always connected to rock'n'roll... :D The best ladies also almost were at rockabilly concerts at festivals. :D

  • Well, thank you ! You are welcome !! Here and in general, also .

You 're right about the girls. I like that fourties 'screen goddess' look the most !

  • bitch'n tone. I'd love to hear that hot rod played on it's other pickups as well. Gretsch is simply the best.

  • love the addition of double talking baby at the end! way to go man love your style.

  • Ah,finally has someone noticed ! haha I occasionally like to do that, I mean doin' those ' musical quotes '.

  • Inspirational playing! You embarrass me to woodshed more on my own guitar.

  • Ah, don't worry about it ! It ain't no brain surgery! haha

  • The actual definition to the word nigger, is an ignorant person. Yoy have proved yourself to be just that. Ignorant and tasteless. I'll bet you wear whatever you see in the latest mainstream hip hop videos on BET...

  • Say u ugly ass cracker the fifties called and they want their jive ass clothes and lameass music back!!

  • Get lost.

    Boy.

  • nice as hell

  • Thank you very much.

Please check out my latest addition, ' 59 Club '.

    Needs badly more clicks. haha

  • You should take Alvinorey's tiny hand ( check out my reply on his wise comment towards 'Gretschin' in A7 '), and walk away living happily ever after. Now, go away and bother someone else.

  • Oh my.

    That was AMAZIN' sweets.

    XoXoXo

    Cherries

  • Thank you !

If you like, please check out my other clips here. ' 59 CLUB ' desperately needs more clicks !!! haha

    P.S.

I also like Rockabilly bands with a Mexican background. Santos and the Moonlight Cruisers are pretty cool.

  • Jesus, where'd cha learn how to play like that?

    That was tight

  • A healthy dose of Stray Cats and Misfits basically. That's all.

  • why so fast??????????? It's an overkill

  • Ah ... Double-Melkie ! Honey, is it you again ?

    Thanks for stoppin' by !

Ah, don't worry. It can even get faster than this. Please check out '59 Club', another humble instrumental by yours truly. haha

  • yeah!Great style..and particular sound!!hi bro!

  • Thank you !!!

  • love your jacket

  • Yeah, it's nice, ain't it ?

  • where did you buy it?

  • I bought it at a local shop for western wear called ' Truck Store Niebel '.

They also sell their stuff throughout the net, but apparently it is not possible to add here an internet address.

    Go to google !!!

  • that was fuckin cool

  • Many thanks !!!!!

  • Does your Fender ToneMaster sound different from a Super Sonic? I would purchase a ToneMaster myself but their not as easy to come by. Would you recommend a super sonic or did you find them lacking in tone? You really have impressed me with your playing and you tone.

  • Hi there !

As far as I know the sound of the Super Sonic is similar to the ToneMaster. If you are into clear treble and muchas bass ( which I am )that is. I do believe that you will be pleased with it.

Have fun + many, many thanks !!!!

  • don't know much about rockabilly, but that was great.

  • Thank you + welcome to the club!

New clip coming up in one or two weeks.

And if you are interested where I come from, check out : Reverend Horton Heat / Full Custom Gospel Sound Of

The Spectres / Blood, Sweat And Nitro

    The Quakes / Quiff Rock

and also a legendary Stray Cats concert on German TV from 1981, which you can find elsewhere on the net.

  • Hey is that a new Fender Supersonic amplifier??? How is it working, are you satisfied with it??? Did you ever compared it to a bassman, is there much diference?

    Thanks for good rocking!

  • Well, it's a Fender ToneMaster with a 4 x 12 Vintage Celestion speakers cabinet.

I believe the sound is equal to a Fender Bassman. Y'know, muchas treble + bass, if needed. I always reply upon being asked this kinda technical questions, the sound you create is all in your fingers.

Thank you for stoppin' by !!!!!

  • amazing!!! Id like to hear you play with a drummer and bassist too!!@!!!

  • Thanks ! So do I !!

  • Rockabilly is a free comodity of music. May I say that was brilliant!

  • Well, I 've always been striving for originality. It just don't make any sense to me to walk in somebody else's footprints.

    Thanks !

  • Ich liebe es, wirklich. Habe mir all deine Clips schon angeschaut und bin beeindruckt!

  • :D Nun haste dich verraten... hehe... :D

  • hey lovin the playing! what kinda guitar is that?! i love it!!

  • Thank you !!!

The guitar is a Gretsch Hot Rod. Basically a regular 6120 model with a slimmer neck and high output pickups.

If you wish, please check out the other clips as well.

  • ill be sure to check em' out! thanks!

Musst also googlen gehen.

  • Hey mister, you are killing the rockabilly-sound.

    Too overactive.

  • Thanks so much for your kind words drenched with wisdom.

Please tune in again, for there are more clips in the same vein coming up regularly !!!

  • You're a fucking madman.

Like the fellow said before me, more inspiration to keep practicing.

  • Thank you ! You're way too kind !

Stay tuned, new clip coming up this weekend.

  • Great stuff as always, man. These videos are always an inspiration to keep practicing.

  • YES !!! Do it ! Y'know like some apparently known conductor and composer ( forgot the name ) of classical music once said, upon being asked about the secret of them violin virtuosos, 'It's ten percent inspiration and ninety percent perspiration ! '

    The man's right !

  • Damn true! Doesn't take much hard playing to work up a sweat. I'll definitely remember that quote now.

  • you are amazing!!!!

  • Thank you !!!

I appreciate it very much !!!

Please check out the other clips, too.

  • awesome man! keep on rockin'

  • Thanks !!!

Greetings to Sweden from beer drenched Germany. hahaha Only kidding !!!!
