i own a 07 GT/CS w/ FRPP cats to muffs, cold air, and tune w/ 331's, i raced one & i swear these things can hang if driven right. If i was to get a sedan... this would be it.

I drive an "04. You know it shifts around 6500 all by itself. The super low first gear and traction control really give it a great launch, even on wet streets. Also, the "04 doesn't have the windshield squirters on the hood. They are on the wipers where they belong. I wonder who's lame idea it was to ever put them on the hood.

2000-2003 look basically identical

They restyled in 2003. Different tailights, no chrmoe around the windows... etc.

They are fun cars.

yea, wish i would of got a 03, be nice to actually have cup holders that hold stuff, or a glove box that holds stuff, or a center console that holds stuff, but no, i got a 2000, no front storage at all.

I think I like the suspension tuning on the 99-02's better... but the engine tuning on the 03-06's beats the 99-02's!

The first-second difference in ratios is small. Ford drops the overdrive band on first to give you second, then third is a proper gear.

Love it ! I have a 2002 LSE and have a KKM fiter on the air intake but i've been looking for an air box. Did you build that one yourself or did you buy it some where. Also i noticed that you were able to blip the trans is that due to the PCM tune?
