i did the hour long hike into the south bowl with a few locals. it snowed three feet the night before so we all went out. there were so many fun cliff drops into 7 plus feet of powder in the bowl. nobody had been there because it was christmas

where are u 3:30? is that on the resort or backcountry? i am going this christmas and can somebody tell me some sweet backcountry areas where you can get back to the hill but get some pow? how is the north bowl?

The stuff after 3min is in all in Roger's Pass which is backcountry off highway 1 east of Revelstoke (National Park). You have to skin/hike up and be aware of the avalanche danger. There is plenty of great stuff at the resort and there is easy access sidecountry from the lifts, talk to patrol or other locals to find out conditions and make sure you are prepared for self-rescue in case of an avalanche. Don't just follow tracks out South/North bowl, you will get spanked or lost.

Great video. Three of us oldsters were out there mid-March and didn't have your powder. But couldn't ski like you guys even if we did. I'm with the commenter two or three levels up. My shots with my helmetcam are shaky all over. Do you have some sort of stabilized unit, or does the powder and speed smooth it out that much
