I'm still playing this game, just installed in two days ago on my computer and started downloading maps people created, it helps keep the game from getting boring.

I hope some day they make a third installment, I mean come on they have more stories to work with (Starwars the Clone Wars, and many comics that have been made too), and the technology for making games has advanced alot sence 2005. They could earn alot of money from it too.

You can get it for PC as well; it's easy for any decent pc to handle, and it'll look a lot better than the ps2 or original Xbox version. Today, you definitely don't need a gaming pc to run it.

@EagleSrike202 There were making Battlefront 3, but it got scrapped. So no they aren't. They were almost done with it too. It was scrapped a couple months before they were going to release it.

You'Il have to look around and do some research. The current company is Spark Unlimited, devs for the original Call of Duty: Finest Hour, Turning Point & Legendary. So, here's to a hopeful reveal at E3 2012, but my speculation is that SWBFIII will be on next gen platforms...

@NachoLemon My point is that you're not technically reliving your days on ps2 because you're not on a ps2. It would make more sense if you'd say "reliving my days as a kid or a teenager" or whatever. Oh and btw, its called buying a hd pvr and learning how to use it.

@Sebanator47 no worries battlefront 3 is real its just that pandemic the guys behind battlefront,destory all humans,mercenaries and sabuteur got fired by EA so battlefront 3 got scraped and is being developed by another company not the guys behind the original battlefront so who knows maybe this new company can live up to expectations or maybe they will duck it only time will tell

that training level is awesome for getting permanent power-ups. you can just achieve something over and over again and never worry about running out of soldiers. i just got that sniper pistol thingy permanenty but i only noticed later on that killing myself after 4 kills 50 times ruines my kill/death ratio :(

@NachoLemon I agree KOTOR is far better than #2. I think BF is a fantastic game and I still play it. I am of the opinion BF2, although it has some bright spots, the majority of the game is rubbish compared to BF. I feel the designers missed the whole point of the game that BF made so much fun. The ability to kill with reckless abandon.
