Except that the standard build is 12/11/13 as we stated. By cutting Drones for a faster Hatchery you get more Larvae and hence more Drones. I mean it's fun to pretend you know what you're talking about, but it just sucks when someone calls you on it I guess :)

I have done a detailed analysis of both builds. In fact I'm the person who said it on the VOD commentary. Clearly you can see why 9 Hatch is inferior to 13. Also the fact that after 12 Hatch, 11 Pool it's not possible to get back to 9 supply, but for the sake of argument let's pretend you've thought through your comments. The grey area is 10-18 supply, and any basic analysis will show you 12, 13 and 14 are optimal.

meh odd comment on too many sunkens chill considering his lurk tech wouldnt be done in time to stop if idra went for a break on the 3 sunkens. Also factor in the proximity of the bases and the group of rines that f9 can see idra has waiting in his natural which can easily be brought over.

chill, what would you have done in idra's position in this game. you say he is making tactical mistakes. i dont think he could do anything except keep going out with small armies. if he massed up, he would get swarmed in his nat. he didnt have time to get enough spider mines up for anti swarm.

plexa, even the best progamers get high minerals in that stage of the game when they have to pay so much attention to their army since swarm doesnt show up on the minimap until its too late. ok?

idra has 3 bases and not 5, he has 6 or 8 rax and not 15

his decision making was bad: keeping so few units in front of F91s nat

splitting his army (getting 1 part killed)

attack the 9 oclock with the other part but doing no dmg (and losing a tank to a SUNK rofl that was the sadest part)

u always have to keep in mind that he plays against ppl like savior/effort/.. 10h a day, making so many mistakes when u r 0-2 behind is just bad

think about it. the value of keeping an army infront of a zerg base is to slow down and keep an eye on his army. its essentially a loose contain. once u back off due to a dangerous army ur not really gonna be able to do anything. if he brought army back then maybe he can expand and use those units there. least itll get u somewhere...
