  • Terrific Video !!! But this is NOT a Jetpack....LOL.

  • Phenom...screw the plane...this is it.

  • I'm currently in Neurosurgery residency (First year intern) and when I have the money, I think I'll be giving you guys a call....xD

  • @Michael326 This is seriously fun fine sir, let me know when you are ready. Don't get too busy and end up at 84 years old wishing you had done it:).

  • AWESOMENESS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I didn't go through the whole video but I have a question, do you have a video of you taking off? I really want to see a third's person view of you taking off with that jetpack.

  • @8bittt Yes there are over 200 of them. Just click on my name and watch any of my other videos.

  • how much maintenance does all the equipment require?

  • @CrypticArtist Almost no maintenance is required. Tighten a belt once in awhile, replace a spark plug every couple years. 2 strokes are super simple.

  • Sorry that should be paramania action GT. wing

    Rod UK.

  • Yes I know, you get a glide ratio of about 5:1 when the Eris III RS is 10:1, you have almost zero control of the glider where the Eris III RS gives the pilot full control, plus the Eris III RS will flat cruise at about 46mph!!! Top that off with the Eris III RS is super easy to launch and can be flown even without the motor. I'm really sorry, why the heck did they tell you to get that gear anyhow? That is just too bad. Perhaps sell it while it is new and then get the cool stuff?

  • Dell,

i have just bought a airfer tornado with a cors-air m25 black devil motor, matched to a panamania action gt wing. is this a good set up, i weigh about 200lbs.. thanks Rod. UK,

  • Oh man bummin, no that is a horrible nightmare. I am very sorry man. The black devil is nowhere near the quality of a Simonini, it burns 2-3 TIMES as much gas, has waaaay more vibration and noise, weighs about the same but has far less thrust. The paramania gliders are totally uncertified and the performance is very very poor. VERY poor. I'm very sorry, not trying to knock your equipment, you asked though so I'm telling you what I know from experience. Flat Top & Eris III RS would B best.

  • with the set up your using in this video, whats its climb rate?

  • About 250-300 fpm

  • hell the cops shouldget this and dive down on the bad guys:)

  • i think it was at the end of NFL Live or Sports Center. It was one of your videos because they mentioned how it was an $8000 jetpack.

  • Well that's pretty cool. So they actually showed this video on ESPN and talked about it? Did the air a link or anything or did you just search for it?

  • Yeah, they showed snippets of the video. They had a link to the channel but I was sitting in the back of my university's TV lounge so i couldn't see the url clearly.

  • Very interesting, thanks for the tip. Ready to go flying? This is seriously fun!

  • ESPN just showed this video right now

  • Really, where did you see that?

  • What does that stand for?

  • Nice. Should have got one befor all the other junk. Times are kind hard. A cuple of more months.

  • What is it like to fly some one tandem? How long would it take me to learn? We need a video.

  • Just look back a bit through my videos and you will see some tandems. You should fly for at least a year after getting extremely good instruction before really thinking about doing tandems. Just give me a call anytime and I'll help you do it right so you get up to speed as quickly as possible. 800-707-2525

  • Going to get one this spring. I want to fly but don't want to die. How many people are killed each year on paramotor's.

  • Zero people have ever been killed on Flat Top paramotors. People die on the cheap stuff but not on Flat Tops.

  • BTW Happy B-DAY!!

  • 100mph fits in a suit case!!! Too funny!!Wowsey WOW WOW WOW!!!!! I needed that video!!!! That was awsome!!! That was like being a bird!!!!!! I can't wait to get well!!! PLEASE keep these videos comming!!!! I wasn't kidding hurry up!!go film another!! ricardo, future flat top owner.

  • Happy B/Day Dell, Nice Video, Keep em Coming

  • I've been always loved aviation and have been flying R/C planes. I think I need to take it to the next level and get a PPG. Gotta start saving those dollars and cents and I'm sure I'll get there sometime. Awesome job Dell, truly fantastic.

  • Yes this is a total blast if you get the right equipment and training. Gotta do it right though as there is a bunch of crap out there that people get hurt on a lot. Get the cool stuff and it is freaking fun. Give me a call anytime and I'll be happy to get you pointed in the right direction so you can really have as much fun as you see in my video. • This is absolutely brilliant, I really hope U-Turn USA will get mega sponsorship so we can see more people flying around, just watching you fly around over the mountain range puts a smile on my face too. : )

I always dreamed of getting to easily fly somewhere and not have to worry about fuel or a range.

Im going to subscribe and hopefully you post more videos of yourself flying maybe above Salt Lake.

    Thanks you rock!

  • Well Happy B Day Dell. Very nice video of being on board w/u . That was fun to see the old silo and look down into it . I think showing people veiws like that can sell paramotors all by themselves and get others into the sport. Maybe producing and marketing a paramotor beginners course would be an asset too.

  • Awesome video Dell. What is the longest distance you have flown with a paramotor?

  • 280 miles. I still had a half a tank of gas left too but it got dark so I landed. Fun stuff!!!

  • 8:40 rofl :D

I think it would be awesome to be your son^^ :)

  • I would have to say this is one of the more interesting videos you've done.

  • so what is the shortest distance you've taken off in??

  • Well the wing will fly as slow as about 12mph so with a bit of wind you can easily launch and land vertically with no take off run at all. In zero wind at this altitude it takes about 30 feet or so. A bit more than the Flat Top 200 for sure.

  • How is the wind flying low up and down peak's and valley's? Like desert peak 10'000ft or 12'000ft.

  • A paraglider can deal with a bunch of wind no problem. They are designed to be flown in strong thermals for soaring so they really deal with weather quite well. Depends on the day though, when you get a day like in this video where there is no wind at all then you can fly really low all up and down the canyons & stuff. It is a total blast.

  • Nice one! As good as it get's.How fast can you climb to18'000ft? And then back down?

  • With a good thermal you can make 18,000 ft in 10 minutes or less. Getting back down takes awhile lol. With a 10:1 glide ratio it is hard to come down as fast as you go up. This is soooo dang much fun!!! Love it!

  • Wow that was AWESOME!!! Oh happy birthday!
