man, I wish kojima didn't decided this at all, I wish there where more missions for snake, he just had 2 good runs, mgs1 and mgs4 cause the other games where for the consoles before ps1 so the dramatic is not there even though it is, i wish they'd make a remake of those games mg1 and mg2 and also a remake of mgs1, and mgs2 and 3 its their choice...

The Big Boss lost his eye by a shot that Ocelot give him acidentally after Big Boss kicked his gun to protect EVA in Metal Gear Solid 3.

The Old Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid 4 not lose his eye,is just a special eyepatch,a item that give him others visions,like Night vision.

You remove the transmitter Ocelot plants on you during the torture sequence, and the bullet The Boss fires into your leg, which turns out to be a fake Death Pill. No eye bulet removal. Bullet never was lodged into his eye.

In the past Snake has been modeled after, Michael Biehn, and Christopher Walken (I know crazy!), and since then people have argued whether he was supposed to be *more* Clint Eastwood, or Kurt Russell, since he's clearly heavily inspired in both character and appearance by them both, but in the end the young Snake we've seen in the best graphics (The PS3 system - thank you Octocamo) he really doesn't look very much like any of those guys. He has cemented his individuality!

His accelerated aging is because that's the way he was designed, he's a clone and that's his natural life span. Thirdly, my question was why young snake (the facecamo) looks a tad different than how young snake looks in MGS1 and MGS2 (in MGS2 he looks more like how big boss young looks in MGS3) I think the developers just wanted young snake to look different.
