Well Wifi would be much faster then 3G depending on how much bandwidth it has. Anyway you can turn off the 3G on an iphone, in most phones they call it Airplane mode, im guessing because cellphones are now tiny entertainment centers and you are not allowed to use them on planes so you can turn off your incoming and outgoing data. This feature will then turn the iphone into a itouch for this test to be more accurate. If you think im wrong im not. Any doubts? Research it your self. Takes 5 mins.
