I really wouldn't call someone who liked the old Sonic, but dislikes the new Sonic games a fanboy. They'd be a fanboy if they said there were no flaws with the new series and defend it with their life. I personally think most of the new generation of Sonic games are shit... You made some pretty logical conclusions. I'll give you that. However, for dismissing the possibility of sequels, keep in mind that usually when a sequel is made, the engine of the previous game is recycled, cutting the production time dramatically. Keep that in mind.

Yeah, Kirby needs to see the light of day again. His last real game (not including the DS Super Star remake, which, by the way, was quite enjoyable) was Squeak Squad, and its difficulty level was, to a veteran fan like me (since '02, at least)... well, weak, to be honest. I think perhaps its time Kirby returned to the home consoles, and I don't mean with another spin-off like Air Ride. Don't get me wrong, though; Air Ride was also a pretty good game in itself.
I didnt expect sonic, although I cant bring myself to anymore. last year I got way too hyped with the sword and all and as new pics were shown my anticipation dropped to the floor. another completely failed sonic. what I expected were games in these groups. -wii -4 player -sequals YAY I got what I wanted! =D the only disapointment is spirit tracks. windwaker was my favorite zelda series. they screwed up once. But then there was something that bothered me again; that you could transform into a wolf. It's not that it was a bad game at all, it's just that I wanted to have the regular, normal Link back again. I wanted to have a simple, new Zelda game that only added new puzzles and levels.

I have no idea how they intend to reconcile the plot without creating a new villain or something, though.

No, I mean Metroid Dread, the rumored DS platformer that never saw the light of day but seems to have been referenced as an Easter Egg in Corruption. Metroid Prime Trilogy is a confirmed game to be released (and probably demoed at E3).
First of all, pretty solid analysis overall. The one I would seriously disagree with is your doubts over the next console Zelda. Nintendo's first trailer for TP was 2 1/2 years before it was released (and that was at E3 5 years ago). I'm sure they're still working hard on the next one, but following their typical timeframe for console Zelda games, it's about time for a glimpse at the next one. I just wouldn't expect it to be released for a couple years.

Don't be surprised. F-Zero's essentially dead since GX's apparent flop. The only surviving remnant of the series is the oldies on the Virtual Console and Captain Falcon's endless Smash popularity.
I believe that either way, we'll all be suprised by what Nintendo has in store for us, weather its good or bad. I definitely agree with you and how we shouldn't get too hyped for things that probably will disappoint us later.
However, Nintendo does a great job on keeping games, projects, etc. secret. Example: SSB Brawl. For me, even though Zelda Wii seems unlikely, I would like to see it announced at E3. If not, oh well.
In my opinion, I think the biggest suprise that Nintendo could ever give us, and I don't think anyone has disscussed this before(I could be wrong), would either be a platform game of Mario and Sonic together and not in a sports game like The Olympic Games or as others have said, have these two go back to there original platforming like a SMB 4 and STH 4 possibly on WiiWare or something. Hey, I'm a fan of these two characters especially the Zelda series.
Also, a very unlikely thing that Nintendo could suprise us, and this is only a dream of mine that they would do, is they will have Super Smash Bros. Brawl get downloadable content or some kind of expansion of the game. Why I want this to happen is because even though Brawl is an awesome game by itself, I still feel that they could do more for it like it is missing something.

Well, some say the 5 could also be an S. Some are also saying that interpretation of the given letters and numbers (such as "e" being flipped to "g" or "E" being turned to get "M") gives us the letters we need for "MGS E3." It's a bit of a stretch, but Kojima's pretty much confirmed that there's gonna be a new MGS with Raiden as the lead, and since Raiden is Japanese for "thunder and lightning," like the stormy countdown page, I think it's safe to say we'll see a new MGS at E3.

No, I mean Metroid Dread, the rumored DS platformer that never saw the light of day but seems to have been referenced as an Easter Egg in Corruption. Metroid Prime Trilogy is a confirmed game to be released (and probably demoed at E3).

First of all, pretty solid analysis overall. The one I would seriously disagree with is your doubts over the next console Zelda. Nintendo's first trailer for TP was 2 1/2 years before it was released (and that was at E3 5 years ago). I'm sure they're still working hard on the next one, but following their typical timeframe for console Zelda games, it's about time for a glimpse at the next one. I just wouldn't expect it to be released for a couple years.

Sure, it's about time for a glimpse, but let's face it - Spirit Tracks is in the spotlight, and Nintendo's gonna be riding this crazy train - and TP's success with it - for a while IMO. Pun intended.
Besides, like I said in the video, you gotta remember E3 2008 and just be as pessimistic as possible. Then you can be surprised and happy if Nintendo does go ahead and announce a new Zelda Wii.

Don't be surprised. F-Zero's essentially dead since GX's apparent flop. The only surviving remnant of the series is the oldies on the Virtual Console and Captain Falcon's endless Smash popularity.

I believe that either way, we'll all be suprised by what Nintendo has in store for us, weather its good or bad. I definitely agree with you and how we shouldn't get too hyped for things that probably will disappoint us later.
However, Nintendo does a great job on keeping games, projects, etc. secret. Example: SSB Brawl. For me, even though Zelda Wii seems unlikely, I would like to see it announced at E3. If not, oh well.

In my opinion, I think the biggest suprise that Nintendo could ever give us, and I don't think anyone has disscussed this before(I could be wrong), would either be a platform game of Mario and Sonic together and not in a sports game like The Olympic Games or as others have said, have these two go back to there original platforming like a SMB 4 and STH 4 possibly on WiiWare or something. Hey, I'm a fan of these two characters especially the Zelda series.

Also, a very unlikely thing that Nintendo could suprise us, and this is only a dream of mine that they would do, is they will have Super Smash Bros. Brawl get downloadable content or some kind of expansion of the game. Why I want this to happen is because even though Brawl is an awesome game by itself, I still feel that they could do more for it like it is missing something.
But anyway, I've said my piece, I think.

The new sonic voice actors aren't that bad, EXCEPT for that DAMN Amy Palant voicing Tails.
I don't care how young he's supposed to be. He's a boy! Voice him with a fucking BOY!!!
I mean, Amy Palant isn't even TRYING to sound like a boy!

i really only think pikmin 3 and maybe, MAYBE zelda wii are on the way. either way, I agree with you on most.
oh, and as for the metal gear solid 5 thing... that countdown clock kept flashing the number "5" on it.... I have high hopes for MGS 5, but we'll have to see.

Well, some say the 5 could also be an S. Some are also saying that interpretation of the given letters and numbers (such as "e" being flipped to "g" or "E" being turned to get "M") gives us the letters we need for "MGS E3." It's a bit of a stretch, but Kojima's pretty much confirmed that there's gonna be a new MGS with Raiden as the lead, and since Raiden is Japanese for "thunder and lightning," like the stormy countdown page, I think it's safe to say we'll see a new MGS at E3.

Indeed, I hope Nintendo of America does the right thing (paradox lol) and releases HG/SS in time for the holidays, if not on the ten-year anniversary of G/S's release. If we're lucky, the won't delay the translation to after the Japanese release and make us wait until Spring for them to "reveal" it to America.

Man, this is why I subscribed to you! Your ideas and facts are always SPOT ON! Especialy the part about the sonic games. Sometimes I'm ashamed to call myself a fan of the series cause of all the stupid fanboys. Everyone wants sonic from 1991. But you know what. I say let sega decide!
