Great movie, I liked it immediately. From Jimmy's pickup scene with Dagney to Christopher Walken's scenes as the Man with the Plan to Critical Bill, this film was immensely entertaining. Boat drinks!!

Yeah, that was Buddy Guy, who played at those sets at Denver's Five Points, in the sets I helped build.... and klunly, plod-along, vs. glide, are what keep this fully awesome film a higher achievement of mine (far slicker than Pulp, oooh, ahhhh) than Contact, Jurrasic, or any other small film I ever worked on... "just an action, not a piece of work!", as Walken says...

Amazingly smooth delivery, of a perhaps perfect, or however near to perfect something can be, bilateral conversation, that was always going to have one outcome. Chararcters like Jimmy probably talk to a lot of women, with the intention of wooing them, however when he does it's as though he hasn't missed a step. This is what allows lean in and smell her hair at the end of the scene.
