yeah not to sound rude, really, but what gave you the idea shadow killed maria sonic adventure 2 was sentered around shadow taking revenge for her death altough at the last minute he remembered she beged him to bring happiness to the world. but the song still fits because he tried to destroy the world and in shadow the hedgehog the G.U.N general blamed him for maria's death

Truth is it isn't possible that shadow killed everyone onboard the ark because if he did, Gerald wouldn't have wanted revenge on the human race and tamper with shadows memories if he was at fault for it.

The commander thought of shadow as a weapon, not a living creature and had he not existed, G.U.N wouldn't have attacked the colony in the first place. Therefore I belive the commander blamed shadows very existance for the attack on the ark. Or he could of been misinformed, I'd imagine the ARK incident is classified information. Besides in SA2 he was cronnologically frozen by the military until Robotnik (Eggman) woke him up. All in all Shadow killing everyone makes no scence what so ever.

they are very vauge with shadows past, which is ironic considering that for hte focus on sonic adventure 2 and heros and shadow the hedgehog his past was the main focus for him and after which it changes from "who am i?" to "who am i going to be" really sega team? and people wonder why other fans think shadow is emo they are making it to damn easy, i persianlly think shadow is a bad ass and this emo shit is annoying, i mean put yourself in his shoes, jet shoes and wonder how you would turn out

Well, what happend on the Arc was in fact never revealed. The Commander said, that Shadow caused death of Maria, but I doubt that he saw anything. He was a child scared from Black Doom and he knew that Shadow was his creation. He had just to blame someone. I think he was insane, first he said that Maria was his only family, then that his family died when Arc was destroyed... (am I the only one who thinks that this is absurd considering that they had this conversation aboard the Arc?).

And another thing, if Shadow actually killed anybody while he was trying to save Maria was never revealed either. In one level you are aboard the Arc and you have to rescue scientnists/save Maria/revenge for... being attacked for no reason. You must decide what to do since you play Shadow, but what had Shadow really done?

The only thing we know for sure is, that Shadow discovered enough of his past and he dosnt care about it anymore. Now its time to live in the present.
